Originally a prop from a 2007 short film called Choc au Lac, this rather horrifying shark statue was intentionally left at the bottom of Lake Neuchâtel in Switzerland to mess with scuba divers.
It has been corroding in the water ever since, and is now missing a few of its teeth.
I hate it.
I thoroughly enjoy pictures such as the third one. Ones from far away, taken on a phone, slightly lower quality. It’s reminiscent of a quickly taken photo one would capture in a moment of shock after witnessing a strange animal in the wild. It has cryptid vibes (is it cringey to unironically use the word “vibes” as an adjective for something’s aesthetics? I am unsure.) anyways! This is the Billabong Bunyip, you can find the little big fella at Australia’s Big Banana Park!
