Floga, all things considered, was a calm man. Not violent unless necessary, Sarado calls him a "Golden retriever" of a guy, always smiling and happy to help anyone out. But, golden retrievers were bred to be hunting dogs no? So when he came home one day to find the closest thing he has to a little sister in tears on the cold stone floor, right after her high school dance, any and all semblance of care he may have had for other people simply was just. None existent

It’s a strange thing, to sit on a bathroom floor with someone. Vanessa could recall every time it had happened— the friendships she made, the secrets she learned. As she sat with Nozel, she was conscious of his shoulder brushing against hers. His hand rested at his side, so close she would hardly have to move her fingers to reach it. There was space in the bathroom, but they craved that proximity.
I spent way too long looking for a part that would not spoil the plot fdksjkf so here's a random bathroom talk extract. unedited. wonderful.

Kotlc headcanon: Once the entire squad has stuffed animals, their stuffed animals have “playdates” with each other aka they all meet up, arrange all the stuffed animals, then hang out. Sometimes they spend the entire time playing with the stuffed animals, and other times it’s just an excuse to hang out and talk. They don’t do this all together either. Sometimes only two or three of them will have “stuffie dates”. It’s a favorite date idea for all of them (once everything is figured out and dating is even in the question).
