Was thinking about the movie late night with the devil and thought it would be hilarious if a late night tv show summoned alcor to appear on the talk show. Dipper, while wanting to strangle the host for such a stupid request, decides to play along and actually gives a charismatic persona to the show and is a gracious and funny guest. Of course he spooks and mildly threatens the host but nothing further and doesn't immediately ask for payment. After all, alcor now has a "connection" to anyone who wants to achieve fame quick by getting a late night spot. However, now in alcors debt, the show HAS to put on the acts no matter how bad.

lore question for my fic: do people in the future know that mabel was the first mizar? does alcor volunteer that information or keep it close?
Possibly not, though you could have theorists floating the idea depending on what drifts through historical record to the point in the future you're wondering about.
In more detail: Alcor is unlikely to widely share that information with people not already close to him due to both its personal emotional impact and its potential to reveal his true name and original identity as Dipper Pines (it would be a major leap in logic to go from "demon who may or may not predate the Transcendence" to "preteen boy who died around the time of the Transcendence" to be fair, but it's still a connection point and a powerful demon can never be too careful with their true name).
As for historical record, it's entirely possible for people to become unclear as to whether Alcor (and therefore, perhaps, Mizar?) might have predated the Transcendence, especially the further into the future we go from that point. In addition, this mod at least doesn't explicitly recall any lore suggesting that Mabel Pines and Mizar the Gleeful were openly and widely known to be the same person, but if I'm wrong on that point anyone who's read something to the contrary can chime in via the notes here.

HC: One of Ford's biggest achievements post-Transcendence was the release of that thing that powered the portal. Why? It's a method of producing ungodly levels of energy/electricity, and also eliminates nuclear waste and seemingly, radiation. Every government in the world would be trying like crazy to get their hands on the blueprints; it solves two problems at once!
Ford turns a lot of the money he makes out of this around into creating and maintaining the Library with Stan. It’s a pretty good system overall.

Big question, why has NO OME used mashed the owl house and the transcendence together?? Like the amount of potential this has is insane, especially since there's the theory that's its the same universe.
Like imagine, luz (accidentally?) summoning alcor and as eda and luz listen to him eda realises 'omg, this kid is related nephew to my ex who I stole his car.' And then shenanigans ensue
so on one hand, probably because we ostensibly don't do crossovers on the blog.

that being said, i don't think we've seen an Owl House/TAU crossover yet! Which is wild because Eda/Stan are right there!
Do it
An early R!Ford who is being followed by Alcor (b/c he still wants to keep an eye on the lil bugger) and is slowly convinced that he's Mizar. Becomes the messiah of a cult on accident (they think he's Mizar) and is only proven wrong when R!Stan is found to be his match. R!Stan convinces R!Ford to keep up the Mizar act for the long con. Hijinks ensue. (I don't have the time to write this so...)

Converted Mecha Carnosaur
Converted and painted this guy over 2 months for a local painting competition. Didn't win, but I'm still happy with the results.
Mainly wanted to practice sculpting and converting models as I haven't sculpted a lot before. Also wanted to try out doing some NMM on the tank and dino. Not sure how well the NMM came out but I'm glad I tried it.
My partner's little brothers are also into Warhammer, so I decided to make them each a leader for their favorite factions for Christmas
The base is one of the fancy hero bases GW made a while back, glad to finally have found a use for this one
I do love Tau, but I'd want to do so many weird auxiliaries I'd forget all about the battlesuits

You know, I didnt ever get to post this piece during Halloween, but I thought I'd at least show you the piece after all this time! Odd time to post this, but I was cleaning my files and saw this collecting dust. (*￣▽￣)b
AM is dressed as an angel, HAL is a neon skeleton, Edgar is dress like a demon, and TAU is attempting to be a ghost!
Hey everybody, back again with my art! I thought I'd come out with my designs for if some A.I.s had a robotic, more mobile form. I kinda wanna go through my thoughts about their designs, so here we go!
HAL 9000: I wanted him to be very human-like with a lot of his details resembling human muscles. No colors, and all monochrome except for his bright red accents. I imagine he was built to be more so function over form, so he's kind of simple compared to the other A.I.s. His outfit is very professional - suit, tie, and all. His cape being a reference to his memory banks, since I love that scene despite how sad it is.
AM: Now I also wanted him to be human but in a more spooky, skeletal way. Very hunched over, broken down, and needing repairs. He has a little monitor where his heart would be that says HATE. Also, I took away AM's leg privileges, so underneath his HATE cloak is just more confusing wiring. I also want to reference the HATE monolith, so his entire cloak is covered in the word, hate. If that doesn't scream AM, I'm not sure what does.
Edgar: Edgar basically has 2 different designs - The design of the movie, and the design of the poster. To combine them I made most of his body based on the one in the movie, like taking his monitor from the movie and putting some limbs on it. He also gets a devil headband and clip-on belt to reference his more common, movie poster design. Edgar also gets the comfiest wardrobe with a heart tee-shirt and jeans.
TAU: Now TAU gets a very odd body shape, mostly because I wanted him to match Aries, (The robot in the movie) but in a less threatening way? Also floating limbs, because I said so. TAU actually has quite a few colors, despite advertising just using red, so he gets a gradient of red to green in his accents. I tried for the life of me to give him a wardrobe, and the closest I could get was a little, see through cloak. :(
My personal insight of Warhammer 40k, my objections, likes, and an alternative perspective to the objections to the franchise and why, and hopefully an alternative solution.
