[Headcanon #1]
I mean, yea, we don't know so much about his father but it's pretty possible he had started a family again once he get recovered of his economic situation.
Moreover, I thought that Fudou's mom surely know about it [thanks to gossip] but decided keep her mouth close for Akio is sake.
And about Akio, well...here comes the headcanon 👀~
•Fudou, Kidou, Sakuma were of vacations with Genda and his family, they were having fun in a festival when Fudou saw a man that look like his father. It's take him some time to recognize him but he did it.
•His heart start to hurt when he saw his father happy with a new family. He start to feel abandoning again after so many years. He want to yell at him but he couldn't. His body start to sake having a panic attack while his heart was full of rage and sadness.
•Genda, Sakuma and Kidou noticed it and even if they didn't full understand what happened they try to help him.
•They couldn't go to Genda's Summer House because they would have to explain what happened to his parents so they decided find some private place [not so far] where they could talk and help Akio to calm down.
•Once they found it, it's take him some time but Fudou finally managed to explain what was happening without so much details. He start to cry of frustration trying to get out all his negative feelings of his chest.
•Even if his friends want to know the full story they respected Fudou's privacy and give him their support waiting for him to someday to trust them and finally tell them more about his family.
That's all...like I said, it's more like a ramble but I wanted share it.
Honestly, I can see Sakuma recording it to share it on his IG.
Kidou: You’re smiling, did something good happen?
Sakuma: Can’t I just smile because I feel like it?
Genda: Fudou tripped and fell down the stairs.

Them. Nothing much to say, I really love their story. I just wish they had more moments together (specially including Genda).
