little headcanon.. orrr what i imagined happened in the few days/weeks right after when they first reunited post-merge!!!

ninjago's writing when it comes to a comprehensible, logical timeline constantly eludes me. I probably shouldn't even be thinking too hard about it at all- but I am, and will continue to do so no matter how much it strains my sanity. its kind of fun!

i feel so bad for Lloyd man all he did was be born (also can you tell misako's design is inspired by that 'Never Love An Anchor' animatic on yt... yeah i love that animatic)

Lloyd totally has the grinch™️ socks or whatever mascot with green. it'd be so cute and goofy man....he picks them out with his uncle but occasionally one of the ninja or something- has to buy some for him. idk

hi hiii this is my super awesome totally cool oc x canon!! the oc here is Finson, and i pair him with Garmadon!

This guy sprouted in my brain when i was reading Shatterspin and looking at survivalshipping screenshots, BEFORE i found out about survivalshipping. And my brain at the time was like, cheating isn't cool! Garmadon has a wife! (even though we haven't seen them interact in a while...) and poor Lloyd!

So i started imagining what Garmadon's life pre-Misako was like! Wu too, of course, but mainly Garmadon. These guys are canonically around thousands of years old, right? so they should atleast have some kind(s) of relationship(s) back then, right?

Down here shows the very beginning of it all...up to you if you'd like to read it, i really don't want to transcribe everything...ahah

Anyway, Finson is based on Vinny...hence the generic design. I imagine that somewhere deep in Garmadon's mind when he sees Vinny, he remembers Finson in some form! ..Though super vaguely. Like "hm, have i seen this guy somewhere?" but he doesn't really remember properly until, well, when i say he does. :]]

Finson lived by paddy fields, with his house hidden up on a hill among other houses within it's thick grove of trees. A small village!!! A special one, too. Why else would Garmadon ever have needed to visit it? eyh? eyhh??

Aaand before i make myself think i mischaracterised my fav characters again, i'll point out that Agent Smith doesn't really do Agent Walker's paperwork all by himself. He actually gives most of it to his department's employees. Why is he like this.

...another thing i forgot to point out in the last post prequeling this one, Agent Walker's videogames got confiscated and won't be returned until he finishes his current paperwork!! (They found out he was making his employees do his paperwork. like Agent Smith over here...)

+ the last image text says, *(Agent Walker) doesn't notice the slight reduction in paperwork nor the fact that it's TIDIED because he's too woozy

For context, the 1st image has Garm in tear marks because he came back from a mission that went very, very bad. He screwed up so bad, that Finson was the first person he could think of that wouldnt disown him! (oh FSM..when i catch you..) -like, literally. ran straight to his house. lol

The war mentioned in the 3rd image is something im still figuring out! But to summarise it, basically a war broke out and affected/involved Finson's village- the enemy taking all the villagers including Finson and to wager them in the war. im not sure wether to make them from another realm or fellow humans...hm

uhm the 1st image. i know Cole canonically loves cake and Kai likes spicy food (popular hc) but but!!!

-hypothetical situation, they're both craving for some dessert- right at that moment -and that slice of cake in their fridge was the only one left?! (...im just taking Eddsworld's Breakfast and making it Colesworld LOL)
