Texting God Au - Tumblr Posts

Akari from Pokemon Legens Arceus, with her hair down after a long day of field work, sits in her room holding a piece of parchment and taking a photo of it with her Arc Phone. Next to her is her Hisuian Typhlosion, who is looking at her with a gentle smile as her Hisuian Zorua curls up sleeping beside it. Her Hisuian Lilligant and Walrein are both basking in the setting sun at the window in the background, looking content. Akari is saying "Oh man, almost forgot to send Arceus that drawing I did of us!"
Akari leans over the drawing which she's now set out for Typhlosion to look at; he is smiling with a little affectionate heart in a thought bubble, indicating he likes it. Akari is blushing bashfully and looking away, saying "I'm no artist, y'know… and I don't technically, like, know what it looks like IRL… But I hope it likes it anyway."
Akari and Typhlosion both jolt in surprise as a loud Boom! of thunder comes from outside.
Akari looks out the window, between her Walrein and Lilligant, to see rain falling outside in a heavy downpour. Walrein looks excited about the rain, Lilligant looks annoyed that the sun went away, and Typhlosion worriedly comforts Zorua in the background, who has gone into fight-or-flight mode and is staring at the window shaking. Akari says "Oh, weird. Wasn't it sunny a minute ago?"
A view of the photo Akari sent Arceus. It shows Akari, drawn with a simple, angular, beginner anime artist style, hugging a huge blobby Pokemon that resembles the beta design for Arceus. They are both smiling happily, with little flowers and other cute symbols drawn randomly on the page around them. The word "Besties!" is written in big bubble letters at the bottom, along with Akari's signature.
Arceus leans over a glowing, floating screen, presumably what it's been using to text with Akari. Arceus's eyes are huge, shiny and wobbly, and big tears are pouring down its face. Its face is surrounded by sparkles, showing how moved it is. It makes a sound like "ough", too overcome with parental emotions brought on by the drawing of it and the girl it's starting to see as its child. Unown shaped like the letters A and W look at it with concern, as a few more that spell out "hmm?" are nervously looking at a portal in the starry void Arceus resides in, which shows the driving rainstorm in Hisui that Arceus accidentally caused with its emotions.

been a while! i wanted to draw them again i missed them.

i just think that having a semi- if not fully-omnipotent god who controls your world come to absolutely adore a random person like its own child could be a fun source of comedy. and horror. but let’s focus on the comedy for now.

Arceus stands behind Akari as she anxiously paces, saying "we can't just send him off to Arceus-Knows-Where without thinking things through!"
Arceus chuckles, leans down to Akari and says "Hmm… I was not aware that was an expression!" Akari looks surprised.

Based on that one MLP post. I missed drawing texting god au stuff! it’s just been hard to think of ideas.
