We all heal differently.
I can honestly say I've been in love purely twice in my life. There were times that I thought perhaps I was. Until you understand that some people you just get used to and you just don't want to say good bye.
Trauma, though varying degrees, will come with the loss of all types of love.
In some instances, in places where love once stood, hate will manifest. Though easier, try not to let that sit for too long. I find that this part has been my biggest struggle. Hate and anger. But I was not in love with these people, I just held a type of love for these people. A love that could be moved, adjusted, manipulated... I hold no love for them any longer.
The pure love? It has never wavered. I think of them fondly from day to day. I will cherish them for forever. Pure love can not create such a hatred. And for this I'm grateful.
