Answered previously, but another I've always liked is "comfortable/rich/unadventurous/etc character gets whisked away on An Adventure, and learns the value of courage, hard work, and true friendships/loyalty when things get tough". It's always such a satisfying arc to see. Is this a sign of it being something I need in my life? Probably.
16. what is the first “big kid book” aka chapter book, that you remember reading after learning how to read?
Uhhh... good question! I was going to guess the first Boxcar Children book, but it might've been a Frog and Toad story. Did those have chapters? I think they kind of had chapters.
25. recommend an instrumental track. (any piece of music without lyrics, not specifically an instrumental version of a song.)
Answered previously and oh no, people are going to start realizing I don't listen to all that much instrumental music! Shhh I'll give a shoutout to the Lord of the Rings soundtrack for doing an excellent job creating an iconic atmosphere for Middle Earth. Specifically to the "Concerning Hobbits" track, which jolts me into thinking someone's playing LEGO LOTR every time I hear it. (Heard it on loop many times playing that game growing up.)

I wanted to ask you what "Help! I'm a fish" is all about! 👀
I saw a YouTuber talk about the movie once but I don't remember much and you seem to be a huge fan of it, so I decided to ask you! And please feel free to talk about your own interpretations and what you find especially interesting! I love that kind of stuff!
Hi, yes, you hit it too hard!🤣 I am obsessed with this film.
I first saw it when I was 4 and re-watched it because of quarantine period. And my goodness I got totally caught up in nostalgia and was drawn back into its world.
These are the main characters of the film.
(They're human, by the way, they just turn into fish. At the end of the film they become human again) The three kids are crawling around in the lab of a mad scientist who has invented a potion that turns people into fish. Fly's sister gets drunk on the potion and accidentally throws it into the ocean. Then Fly and Chuck drink the potion and the three of them wander off into the ocean wilderness.
However, there is an antagonist. Joe. He finds the antidote and uses it to build his empire. Of course, the antidote is in short supply and the three lads and he find it. They learn that the antidote to the potion has given the creatures human intelligence, and that this potion is given to the people by a single fish, Joe - in exchange for unconditional respect and obedience. The dictator fish with empire-building ambitions, with the help of his stooge, kidnaps the children who barely escape and make the antidote themselves. Evil Joe's cancer commander drinks the potion and wounds Fly. Chuck tries to get up to the professor's lab - along with the others. Joe goes after them, but thanks to Fly's trickery, they get rid of him. They've just managed to drink the antidote.
The style is a mixed version of the Disney and Don Bluth films. It looks really good. The makers did a nice job. The characters and the plot are insanely good. The music is fucking great too (for someone who is a metalhead and not really into pop music xD)
Overall, cute and family friendly…. NOT THAT family friendly there are some bloody violent scenes. I definitely recommend anyone to watch it. Heavily underatted!
