so last Friday I was walking past a large window in my department buildings on my way to lab and someone looked up and kind of nodded and me and I thought I recognized him so I waved back

Today I was leaving lab to go have lunch and someone who could possibly be the same person waved at me and I just stared blankly back at him.

Then again it could just be a friendly stranger since my facial recognition (esp with masks) is that bad.

I’m not sure if I should text the person I think it is like HEY ARE YOU THE PERSON WHO KEEPS WAVING AT ME?
