danger days DJ Dr. Death Defying Dr. Death Defying Dr. D tlotfk killjoys the true lives of the fabulous killjoys killjoys headcanons tom petty the Last DJ tom petty and the heartbreakers don't mind me just combining my childhood musical obsession with my present day musical obsession to anyone who only knows me in the MCR fandom yes I was obsessed with Tom Petty as a child and in fact he is still one of my favorites. I suppose you might say his music is like my 'comfort music'. Dr. D just strikes me as a Classic Rock kind of dude I mean I'm sure he likes a variety of modern and Zones rock as well but I think he has a certain amount of a Classic Rock base/background like yeah he's out there with the new rock and he loves that stuff and it's special to him too especially since he's a part of the community and culture that's making it but like there's this special place that classic rock and Tom Petty will always hold in his heart oh no I'm projecting onto Dr. D now too lol but yeah. For him Tom is like that music from a simpler time before the Helium Wars and BLI and everything actually I'm working on a whole Killjoy Vibes playlist which includes the Last DJ among many other non-MCR songs that I think fit the world I may eventually make a separate post about the whole playlist but for now I wanted to share my Dr. D-specific thoughts the Last DJ just fits him so well!! even in the tags i ramble but for once I'm making a fairly concise post I think huh found this all written up and tagged in my drafts. IDK why I didn't already post it that 'hill I will die on' post just reminded me of it
