Call denial if you want!
Ok, I we just like to point out Quentin never said I had a wife. What exactly he said to his dad he was married. That could involve Eliot to. And we all know that there can be a husband and a wife in Fillory.
Question!
1)Why didn't you have Penny 23 astral project into female Knights dreams, instead of wasting his one-off magic? Then he could have stopped Alice from destroying the keys or at least stopped the library from controlling Magic. Not like that one off kill the mistake creature or whatever but there's a ton of s*** that that would have been better at and then it's one of pennies natural talents to go into people's dreams.
2) and the mistake creature must please get the information from the host at least if they're not completely aware or like some kind of weird Blended have Elliot half creature consciousness to even know Quentin's name or that he was going to be his caretaker / guard or whatever. And if he didn't know that Quentin was going to be his caretaker why would it go after Quinton first or how would he know what a goddamn card trick is. On a side note I also totally be okay if it's just because that's eliot's life partner and he saw that through his memories!
3) Does Margo's fairy eye still work? How does that work?
4) how much time has passed since they've been mind wiped to when Eliot / creature shows up. And what exactly did Eliot get possessed and what happened with the Knight girl?
5) What's happening with Quentin's Dad! Did he get sick again? Is Quentin going to get back his memories and find out his dad died when he didn't even know who he was! Oh God don't tell me about do that to us! And also did he tell his dad that he wasn't going to be coming back cuz he was going to play at the caretaker / Jailer thing,so is he even expecting him back?
6)Is Julia still a goddess or not. I mean at the end I know she said that she's not connected to anything anymore but at the beginning she wasn't connected anyways and she had to grow the spark so does she just have to repower up?
7) Dean Fogg what the hell!!! I'm feel like I'm missing a conversation or an entire C to explain why he made the deal and what the f*** happened. Cuz this s*** don't make sense! And it feels kind of like he's up to something or is that just my hopeful view of it.!?
8) Fen acting has hike King permanently until further notice Or is she going to come? Hey if so tick actually got what he wanted in a way. Fillory ruled by a Fillorian. Just not the one he wanted I wonder who he would rather have serve the children of Earth or a commoner. LOL
9) are we ever going to see our Penny again like at all. Between Persephone AKA our lady Underground with Julia and Hade's interaction with Penny all leading up to what happened with the finale and everything does it feel like they're pulling the strings.
9) and this is a throwback question that I just had. If she is the head librarian who gave her that title like who's above the head librarian? Bureaucracies of the library that's probably a book who gave her that tide bike who's above the heads library? Bureaucracy use of the library I'll probably a book.
10) You know the moment they turned magic back on and then Dean Fogg, Irene, and the f****** traveler dude came and put the Syphon on and everything; was anybody else expecting Quinton to summon that s*** right out of the back door. Cuz magic was already on a couple seconds before you think it would hit them first or almost instantaneously shut on cuz I felt it almost instantaneously when they shut it off. Those f****** had magic and they were just laying there on the floor if you can summon s*** out when there's a beast in front of you and your Frozen, you can summon s*** out even if there is some b**** high on fairy-dust trying to stop you!
And those are just my immediate questions after watching the finale. I'll probably have a s*** ton more ones I think about it and we watch like the entire season.
Yeah I see a lot of people trying to compare what Julia did with the Best to what Alice did with the keys and I don’t really see it like that. With what Julia did with the Beast it was putting herself and her choice before the groups, selfish yeah but understandable everybody on the show does it. Everybody in real life does it. But Alice with the keys wasn’t about her and her choice. She already had the potion and the way to make it work. That was HER choice about magic. When she destroyed those keys she was trying to make everybody else choice for them because she couldn’t trust their choices that she had already decided to remove herself from. While they eventually come to understand everybody else selfish choices and even forgive them, earning someone trust and forgiveness back after some even tries to take away your is something all together different.
i know a lot of people are arguing against julia and quentin being mad at alice in this ep and while you do you and like who you like i think they are justified to be angry? the whole gang sacrificed a lot to get those keys.
benedict died because of the abyss key, then they lost penny to the library trying to get it back. while the mosaic life was beautiful and they both appreciate, eliot and quentin spent over fifty years trying to get that one and it cost one of them dying to get it. the unity key trapped josh in a musical illusion for who knows how long.
and they all did all that not just because they wanted magic back, but because whole worlds depended on it to live. we know that fillory was shit at growing food and they were starving without magic, and yeah eliot fixed that in season 2 but like. a lot of worlds were magicless. and even on earth there were a lot of helpless people because of it.
then without saying a word to any of them beforehand, alice waltz in and destroys all the keys. let’s not forget that margo wanted to murder her right on the spot! and that when julia took the beast away, the gang was pissed at her and didn’t want to help her– remember how part of the plot in the heist episode was how to convince the others to rob a bank to help julia? that eliot and margo did it because they also needed the gold, and penny mostly agreed because of kady?
my point is it would be weird if everyone went and welcomed with open arms when they had no idea she’d been trapped in the library. from what they saw, she was working with them.
Ok question. Penny23 is still psychic, right?
I thought now that magic back on Penny23 would have his telepathic abilities back, so why didn't he hear Elliott or feel him or however that works question and have you heard anything about his other psychic abilities now that magic back on and I've missed it for what? Cuz if they didn't mention it or explain it away that I am missing somewhere it makes penny23 even more suspicious. Especially with the whole Alice was the only Survivor of timeline 23 thing previously said and then it pops Petty when they go to timeline 23?????? And oh what that time loops don't they all restart after Quentin dies and it goes back to like stage 1 or whatever so how come they keep on going without the magic of Jane's Clock thing? And if they have to live their lives until they die after Quinton dies how old does that make fog mentally since he actually has to remember all of it.
Ok, Fuck canon here's what actually happened.
Quentin dying and everything after was just a hallucination do to a psychotic break that's been building since about season 3 so for about 2 years. What happened in the mirror world is he thought about stopping and letting himself die after Penny and Alice left for safety reasons and Victoria the other traveler that we know was trapped in the mirror world came and saved his ass.!! Being a psychic that she is and being stuck in the mirror world for about a year along with being tortured by the Beast gave her excellent Mental Health radar and took Q to the hospital where you could get the help pain medication that he has so desperately needed and was took it away from him all the way back in season 1. Along with herself because she a little batshit crazy right now. And they become best friends it actually call each other on mental health issues instead of enabling and pushing people off further Cliffs. And Quentin is going to stay a while well he gets better and everyone else finally realizes Quentin is not their emotional punching bag so they have to go through season 5 without Quentin to fall back on. And Eliot continuously visits Quentin although does not confessed yet because he is waiting for Quentin to get better and focus on himself to show that he in fact will choose Quentin every time.!!!
Margo does not in fact put staring at a fish not even kind of boyfriend above her entire story arc for the season of getting her best friend back. And she realizes that she should have call Quentin out on his mental health a long time ago as her other best friend. Then continues to slap whoever implies that she wasn't showing emotional strength in her relationship with Quentin and Eliot long before Josh ever became an idea in her head.
Julia does get saved but you know sin penny is a psychic he mentally ask what she wants to do about her own body therefore taking back the own her own agency for herself. Along with coming to terms but how she totally ignored quinton's mental health decline when she was one of the ones that should have known and have warning signs and alarms going off because she was there when he first started getting bad at 16 and probably before. And finally get quinton's backstory of suicide attempts instead of just depression and institutionalization by having Julia confronted. Along with finally actually confronting what she did to him in season 1 episode 4 that still f****** kills me and is one of the things I'm still hung up about Julia I am still hung up about it. Especially with that bull shitt apology. That's not you saying you're sorry that's you shifting blame.!!!
KADY did not regress into I just want to be pennies girlfriend Portia taking away her entire progression this season and pretty much every season. Let's mention belittling one of the few ships actually showing to be okay didn't have all that much of a problem with it. And even relating Kady issue with wanting to die to quinton's for the growth and connection but two characters we have only seen connect about other people would be awesome.!!!
And how about we stop trying to take away adoption is in fact a druggie and making him up all too entirely wholesome in his relationship with Margo. It gives a really weird kind of vibe that only goody goody st. Could love Margo in honestly that's total b*******!! What the f***. He's one of the few examples the more we see of them the less of a character he actually gets.
Not to mention instead of the one-off morning b******* suicide is the only solution we got we can get all the characters even the ones that haven't interacted or connected with Q before to react to his mental breakdown.
Penny23 just stops getting carted around as a convenient plot story and gets to explore and contrast his relationship with his timeline 23 and here instead of just focusing on Julia and a really creepy kind of way. And we finally get some explanation on the whole Alice was the only Survivor of timeline 23 yet when we go to timeline 23 there's penny. What the f***
Even cooler is we can get to see Elliott try and grow into somebody emotionally ready for a relationship instead of just throwing him into what and say he is ready. Which will take the entire coldwaugh while ship into a whole nother level.
Find you want to do a time Jump In fillory, okay will do its time Jump In fillory but not 300 years with some b******* where we don't actually get any resolution on any points that has actually been set up in fillory that's not throw away. Move it forward a couple decades and we get to see a how often has grown as a person. The world has changed and the slow impact that they as king and queens because they are still paying in Queens there's four Thrones okay. Has had on fillory. And if you want a villain to be thrown in fillory just throw Plover back in so we can finally get rid of his ass like we should have done in season 1. Seriously why did nobody take Quentin up on the trying knife out on him seriously???
Everybody else can do with the McAllister b**** still after everybody. While trying to keep Clinton safe in His recovery. And the ramifications of The Magicians and hedges working together in a world setting. The library can also be headed play Zelda of the old order and Harriet since she had the right idea in the beginning instead of handing it off to Alice thing. Alice can go back to trying to find her own way since last was when she was interesting instead of taking somebody else's path.
Quentin the white protagonist? I'm sorry what?! Huh
Okay the more I think about the writers excuse for killing Quentin off, the more enraged I get! Yes for all the reasons we've said before the fact that he's a mentally ill depressed person that he's actually the bisexual in this character that takes away from the whole white male protagonist stereotype and all that. But the thing that kills me the most isn't even in all those transgressions against our Darling by King!! It's the fact that they have never given him the respect of the white protagonist hero in the story that almost nobody else gets they've never given Quinton that. Every story of the white male protagonist has that specific role get something Quinton has been lacking in the story and from its characters since pretty much episode 1 season 1. A voice about his own choices and not being overwritten by other characters when he show something voice something or tell something that doesn't fit in their perspective of what he is or isn't.
The white male protagonist in the stories don't have to fight but a little moves that fight to other characters and the writers themselves trying 2 override or we write his choices or words in regards to himself. But Quinton on the other hand not only fights but loses constantly not only his voice but respect for his actions and his Regard in who he is not to the storyline which would be part of the story and the characters and writers right but as a person himself. From episode 1 when they have Alice disregard his triggers and worries about doing the ritual to just the season when they disregard his clearly declining mental state and suicidal actions and his sexuality. nevermind that Quentin just went through 50 years basically being married to Elliott no he's not into dudes because Elliott doesn't think he is. he's not suicidal because Penny says he's not at the end. Alice isn't a trigger for him because Margo told him he needs Alice isn't a trigger for him because Margo told him he needs to Alice isn't a trigger for him because Margo told him he needs to pussy up to do this thing that they don't even have to do together. Quentin himself pushes away pup poppy decides she's going to sleep with him to get rid of his panic attack which is rightly earned from him and his further trying to take away his voice and doesn't understand what she's doing when they bang yet pure bulshit that is basically an assault on a traumatized person by the person that traumatize them know that is never called out. Yet it if it had happened to any other character though there would have been outraged in an entire storyline just by that. it's honestly a lot more examples throughout all the seasons and pretty much every episode Q is in somebody disregards something about him that doesn't fit into the white male protagonist role they're trying to shove him into. And that in and of itself proves but he doesn't fit into it because of nothing else that's true in all of the stories that center around the white male protagonist is that they get autonomy over there own characteristics.
Excuse any mistakes I writing this on my crappy phone at work and the talk to text feature hates me!
I rather Drown by set it off is fucking mood.
So I was listening to some music trying to get my mind off of the insane amounts of rage and grief and depression The Magicians has said often me to try get out of this headspace I've been in since sucking and Wednesday. Only but it comes to Have Fun Pandora I'd rather drown by Set It Off which ends up being a therapeutic moment of sing-along cuz to me it describes the exact amount of both rage and hurt and betrayal about not only Eliot and Quentin but their story lines and general The Magicians the and the stab in the back. They gave her the other characters and their growth this season just all of it. if anyone agrees with me and happens to do music videos please please do your magic because all I want to do is go beast and rip out my f****** shade!!!
Mike Wazowski
Okay little headcanon confession time. When I found out the monster didn't actually have a name, I kind of really wanted Quentin to name him Mike Wazowski! I kind of just thought it would be awesome scene for a Quentin to call the monster Mike and one of the other questers be all like Mike I'm a monster be like Mike Wazowski kind of like Boo from the Monster Machine movie and everybody just look at Quentin judging his nerdiness. Of naming an ancient god monster after a monster Inc movie character. And the fact is any other time they mention the name Mike monster could have had a little Mike Wazowski moment. so much so the longer he went without a name the more I wanted it and now after the tragedy that is the season finale it's practically cannon in my head after remind myself it's not true. Seriously we have a child like monster and nerdy ass Quentin to me it almost seemed perfect!
Beast Q! Timeline 23 a god?
Hey now that we know humans could be made into gods by taking the energy when a God dies into themselves or whatever does that mean time line 23 Beast Q was a god?
Petition that we still the trope from Supernatural whenever Castiel dies he ends up somewhere with amnesia and a wife and very little to no explanation of how he survived other than God brought me back, to bring back Quentin but instead of a wife we give him a random husband( for all the people you keep on saying that Quentin wasn't bisexual because he only slept with Elliot, on the show, that we know of.) I mean couldn't you do to see it. Quentin running a fantasy cafe-bookstore in Paris with a with a hot guy named Luca nerding out about everything. And then him randomly dying and coming back just becomes a thing. And just the pure Genius of seeing every character react to it. I didn't know I needed this in my life until now.
Send me your random wouldn't it be funny if Quentin came back this way against that would make more sense than just killing him off, if you want. Writing this on my phone with a talk-to-text so many mistakes are not my fault.
