I just watched the final episode of Owl House
I'm so sad it's over but I'm so happy I was able to be a part of the fandom. I'm so happy that I was able to watch it in my lifetime. I'm so grateful for the friends I made thanks to this show!
I cried at multiple points. It was such a perfect ending to a perfect show.
I personally can't wait to see what Dana and the team do next!

Something I don't think I've seen anyone talk about it just how exhausted poor Gus was after holding up the illusion for so long. Poor thing is SO strong and talented, and he just abouts wipes himself out for his friends 💔
Gus being sidelined in “For the future” was not great. At all.
The conversation we were all waiting for, Gus telling Hunter he has known since King’s Tide was for some reason placed during Willow’s crisis and had to be interrupted. Gus literally says he will go find Willow when Hunter tries to respond….ok, what a way to leave that unaddressed.
Next we have the scene where Hunter consoles Willow. Gus is there I guess but he had to be literally covered in vines so Hunter can do his thing. You are telling me, that the boy who also felt like he kept messing up, who was underestimated due to his powers and has troubles controlling them, was not allowed to help his friend who has it very similar to him? For what reasons beside them wanting this to be a shipping scene? If anything it would have been far more impactful if both Hunter and Gus helped her cause her issues relate to them both.
And if the writers wanted Hunter to be the one to help, then Gus shouldn’t have been there at all. Just like Willow was not with them in Labyrinth Runners. It would have been weird if she was and then was ignored during the scene where Hunter consoles Gus. Cause that’s exactly what happeend in FTF.
