Bro I just had a TUE thought
This has probably been pointed out or addressed before, if not in canon (I haven't rewatched in a while), but like. Bro.
Did we ever get a confirmation on which timeline Box Lunch came from, specifically?
Obviously she came from a timeline in which Dan exists (or it can be safely assumed so), but I don't think it ever was specified if it was from the timeline we saw.
Still, remember when Danny went to the future, and how all the ghosts showed up to teach him a lesson, even though this Danny wasn't the version that ruined their lives? Remember how ridiculous that seemed, that they would blame him when he clearly wasn't the same Danny?
Well. Consider, who all was there? Ember. SkulkTech. Johnny, Kitty, and Shadow. Box Ghost. Notably, Lunch Lady wasn't there, which I think was heavily implied to be because Dan killed her.
But why wasn't Box Lunch there?
Because Danny killed her in his own timeline, by igniting an explosive sauce packet and detonating her. Whatever timeline she came from, she's not getting back to it, because our Danny killed her. "Didn't do anything" my ass, am I right?
Again, probably super obvious, but bad writing aside, it's pretty fucked up.
I need an explanation for this one
The Ultimate Enemy feels like it was setting up this idea that Clockwork would have become a mentor figure for Danny, and I would have killed to see this come to fruition. It would have been a great place to take Danny's character moving forward. Clockwork is yet another one of those characters that should have been more relevant in the series, yet he wasn't.
