The Ultra Beasts Among Us AU - Tumblr Posts

When you shitpost so much that it ends up becoming an AU.

I came back on the voice chat when a couple friends of mine were talking, and I ended up joking, and that joke ended up becoming an AU of sorts.

So I deeply thank @mechablood and @multicrazygummybears for inspiring me to make this.

I was talking with @mechablood and @multicrazygummybears about the AU and then we thought, “Is Kukui the only one who’s an Ultra Beast in disguise?”

Long story short @spanglyspace suggested making Hau a Blacephalon in disguise, and we totally ran with the idea.

WHY HAS THIS GONE AS FAR AS IT HAS

I like Blacephalon.

I finished the first one not too long ago, and the second one was a panel from something I doodled up on paper and decided “Yep, I’m using this for shading practice”. It was basically a comic about the AU a couple of friends of mine and I came up with where Ultra Beasts have human disguises. It’s mostly shenanigans with some canon/original characters, though. Context for the second picture: basically Hau is a UB but doesn’t exactly know it/forgot he was one. The first few times he goes into his UB form, he thinks he’s dreaming.
