Strade made a deal with Rire a while back, hence why he’d never been found out for all his murdering fun times. Rire gave him several extra years (without telling him) because he found his antics entertaining.

Ren asked for help and “to be free” and probably didn’t fully realise he’d made a deal when he did so.

MC made a very desperate deal to “not die” and “get them out of there” (both technically fulfilled).
