I don't think I've seen a an online group of shipping individuals more determined to kill off fan engagement than sess/rin shippers, mostly those on twitter. Like they will attack anyone with a different opinion than them in the Inuyasha fandom and it's not like a little group, literally droves of them will leap onto one idea (right now it's that Sesskag artists copy Sess/rin artists, which is hilarious) and then the others repeat it back to them like an ugly echo chamber until they form a witch hunt to protect a sess/rin artist they don't even talk with. It's like they're actively trying to kill what's left of the Inuyasha fandom at this point. It's not enough to stick to your own lane. Gatekeeping at its finest.
