does mary even REALIZE what she does to people I mean

I'm reading kakegurui twin and,,, she's so charming. she's haughty and difficult to approach (the mandatory tsundere) so at first glance it's hard to tell that she's actually a prince, really. like a knight in shining armor, mary's brave and loyal to her morals, she puts honor first. and most importantly, she is her own person, she's strong and independent. people are drawn to that.

tsuzura admired mary when they were young because even then she could see mary was especial. mary is special, in a simple way: she never lets anyone tell her what to do, she knows who she is and after seeing how unfair the world is she said "fuck that, I can work hard".

she can't fix the world, but she has learned how to survive in it. she's solid, determined and strong. she also can't stand to see people not being themselves. she can't leave them alone, especially when she likes them or feels they're a good person. she wants to encourage them to be strong and reclaim who they are. like with tsuzura and ririka, who I like to believe are her weak points.

mary has a long story with the whole house pets system. from hating it at first sight to (idk I haven't read that far yet) suddenly being The Mary Who Has Control Over A Lot Of House Pets in beginning of the story.

(damn, what a contrast from how she used to be in Kakegurui Twin, she somehow ended up as the type of person she hated most - I guess she thought that was the only way to survive).

I think she realized who she became, and how far that was from person she used to be.

she regained her wish to be at the top, to be president.

and that's so damn attractive, you naturally want to follow her.

I feel like other people can tell she's special. tsuzura did, yumeko did, idk why kirari invited her to the be part of the student council but she must have seen it too. ririka definitely wasn't ready and I'm pretty sure she's smitten now, mary literally tore the mask from her.

I just have so many feelings!! mary is so special!!!
