Imagine Neko!Sweden just sleeping in a set of drawers and somebody just opens it up and sees him. And everybody is worried about him, until the owner of the store sees him, he knows who he is due to the fact that he is often there, and at the end of everyday Sweden comes to pick him up and AWWWWWWW that is so cute!!

Neko!Sweden’s favorite place to play is an IKEA store. It’s like an amusement park to him. He never goes after any customers, though. If he gets lost, He’ll go to the highest point in the store and make his way back.

Disclaimer: everything I am about to say is my own personal opinion. If you personally are into role reversal, I don’t have a problem with that. If you are mad that I am not into role reversal and do not like it, I do have a problem with that because that’s silly and you should chill out.

Role reversal takes all the stereotypes I don’t like in traditional heteronormative interactions and just flips them around. In my opinion, this is just as dangerous. For one thing, it acknowledges that certain actions and traits are perceived as gendered, and the assumption that somehow reversing them, that being like “oh the GUY is demure this time? The girl is holding open doors?” is somehow progressive when that’s… just how people can be, like those aren’t kinks even PEOPLE ARE JUST LIKE THAT…. it bothers me.

For another thing, I do not like that gfd and rr are equated as the same thing, either. I do not want my sub to be financially dependent on me or be shy and demure because that’s how *women* usually are, of course, obviously, don’t you know? And by reversing it that’s somehow … cool? It’s not. It’s acknowledging that women are usually perceived as the secondary partner in relationships. I don’t ever want to be part of a relationship that promotes an imbalance of power outside the bedroom, so that sits poorly with me.

Even in the bedroom, I’m not into it. I like gentle femdom. I do not like being like “oh ho ho, it is USUALLY THE MAN who holds the woman’s hands up over her head.” That’s heteronormative, again, and unnecessarily gendered. I just wanna hold my partner’s hands over their head because they like it and I like it, and I want to bring as few shitty gender roles into it as possible, and role reversal inserts gendered expectations e v e r y w h e r e.

AGAIN, MY OPINIONS. If you like it, more power to you. My only problem is with people who are like “you, a domme, MUST like role reversal as well!” I do not. Obviously. Lmao.

A thought I had earlier that I reallllly like; A situation where rather than the pred hypnotizing the prey, it’s the opposite. The prey is desperate to get inside (just Wants To, needs to hide from something, whatever reason you want) and the pred is refusing, so the prey hypnotizes them. It’s as easy as politely asking for the pred to open their mouth and stepping inside, and asking them to then swallow. The pred freaks out when they snap out of it, but they don’t let the prey out yet either…. might as well do what they want.
