[a]got: she worked originally for chataya in chataya's brothel. this was when she arrived in westeros, the two women forged a friendship, trust and alliance over time and tiathia becomes her second in charge, as well as the debt collector of chataya's. after five years with chataya she invested in another brothel, becoming a majority co-owner and, running that brothel in a symbiotic relationship with chataya's, rather than a competitor - she would never. tiathia eventually bought out the other owner, and the brothel became hers. it is now named the serpents coil β her workers are distinctively dressed in silks of various red shades (which are tiathia's her own motif of colours), held on the body with a serpentine-styled belt at the waist, or brooch/similar clasp. the workers wearing a golden accented belt or brooch indicate that they are the most expensive... this is relevant to the fact that tiathia, like chataya, cater to a wealthy clientele as a basis. a year ago she also invested a minority share in a brothel in dorne, she had visited and worked there many times, so when the opportunity arose she took it. there is a good relationship between the dornish brothel and her own serpents coil, which gives both referrals to travelling clients when visiting the respective regions or either dorne or the crownlands, and a way for workers to relocate with a sense of secure employment.

he is close friends with the proprietress of the first brothel that tiathia worked at upon her arrival in kings landing (era details) , which is how they met.Β over a decade on from their first meeting the two are closely intertwined by their personal loyalties, friendships to each other and their mutual friends.Β errick has made weapons and other small things for tiathia, and he is the only smith that she trusts to maintain the precious blade she surreptitiously acquired from someone, or somewhere in yunkai.
errick knows tiathiaβs 'children', the two yunkish pythons; snakes, and they thave also grown to trust him.Β errick knows she is nearby when either khiara or stonesnake, or both serpents, slithers eagerly into the heat of the forge.Β Β Β their relationship is close but platonic, they help each other professionally but have developed a friendship over the many years that have gone by.Β Β tiathia has allowed errick a very slight peek into her skinchanging abilities, by way of sending a message to him via one of her children, and/or through them, leading the smith to where she had become injured and in need of help.
additionally, he is often present on more boisterous nights around the brothel, acting as a somewhat bodyguard, somewhat deterrent for trouble (such as during tourneys or large gatherings in the capital). errick is a helpful presence, due to his street reputation, and tiathia will call on him if physical force is needed to stop something from happening imminently.
