no this pisses me off because they KNOW. they freaking KNOW how stan twitter is. they KNOW about the kind of following that zayn has and the numbers we have. they should have known to tell us what time the song was coming out and that we'd be staying up late for the release like we did with vibez. they should have KNOWN that it would be misleading for them to do what they did. they just let the update accounts tell everyone a new song was coming out when it was just a teaser. they're slowing his reach. it's like a roller coaster that stops halfway to the bottom. completely ruins the effect. WHY????
I mean like?? the only thing I can think of is that maybe it's a play on the title of the song? like to begin the countdown again?? but that's such a stupid way to do it and if that's the point then you should at least be like HAHA GOTCHA IT'S A TRICK SEE GET IT?? also there are way better ways to play with the title than, idk, LYING TO YOUR FANS??
at this point i don't even think it's because it's loud i literally just think theyre doing everything they can to trash his career before he leaves
they’re purposefully messing up the marketing for it. my guess is because it’s gonna be LOUD AF, otherwise why not profit off of the attention it got today?
also can we talk about how by releasing a new song with a new collaborator barely two months after an album release is so ??? like why?? it takes attention away from his album even more! I mean he hasn't even released his next album single yet... "nobody is listening" is gonna be literal because theyre gonna take his listeners away from the album to listen to a random single??
ALSO it's on a wednesday in the middle of the afternoon??? how random is that like wtaf is happening with his promo team are they on drugs?? please make it make sense to me. i'd love to know how much money zayn's magazine and fashion deals are making to compensate for this complete failure with his *actual* career

@rca i get that you want to spend as little time and money on zayn as possible but releasing zayn's song midday on a Wednesday on conveniently the same day as a rare paper interview with him is published just takes the cake. i mean honestly, you couldn't give us the song at midnight at least??

to begin again has gotten more promo in the last two days than the entire album of nobody is listening has gotten in its entire run
Unsurprised but still bitter that Nobody is Listening got next to no promo but To Begin Again gets tons of radio interviews and a magazine cover. They did the same thing when he collabed with Taylor Swift. He only gets a voice when it's to promote someone other than himself.
The Zach Sang interview was scheduled for ages ago when the album dropped but they rescheduled it for when his collab was coming out instead?? Like seriously??
Also can they seriously stop asking him about his personal life and one direction?? The man just dropped an album and a collab. There are plenty of things to ask him. As Zayn said himself: "leave [his] life outside."
