Are you still taking requests? If yes, may I humbly ask for some headcanons for Zenji, Lyca, Rui, Alan, and Tohma overhearing the reader humming to themselves either out of boredom or as a coping mechanism after speedrunning a traumatic event doing a mission. They also have a really sweet and soothing singing/humming voice.

I had another request that was with the same character but instead of Zenji, they asked for Towa. So I combine the two requests. I hope you both love this HC.

Zenji:
You have finished all of your classes for the day and was sitting outside in the courtyard of the school. The gentle breeze brushing through your hair. The warm sunshine beaming on your face. You sat with your eyes closed as you soak in the sun. Your legs spread out in front of you as you leaned back on your two hands. A small gentle tune fills the peaceful air as you hum the song, “The Wreckage,” by Alex G.
You don’t normally hum or sing out in public, but there wasn’t many students nearby. So what people don’t know wouldn’t hurt. Right?
Well little did you know. A tall sweet handsome man, just so happens to be walking in the courtyard. The sweet melody had caught his attention. So he followed the sound. There he sees you, bathing in the warm sun. He was captivated by the beauty he was seeing. He slowly walks up to you and sits next to you.
“My dear sweet doll, what song are you humming to?” You pause to tell him what song it is.
“What a beautiful voice you have! Please May I hear more? Maybe actually sing it?” He pleaded, you were a bit hesitant. But you started to sing. Once more you closed your eyes. Only this time, you were actually singing.
He loved it, the song choice. Your sweet voice. All of it. It makes him feel relaxed and happy. It even inspired him to make another song himself.
Maybe this time, he’ll sing to you instead.

Lyca:
You came over to the bar to help Rui and Lyca. It was closing time and you and Lyca were almost finished. Once you both were finished with the clean up. You walked Lyca back to his dorm. While on your way to the dorm. You started to hum. The night was a bit chilly, but calm.
Lyca didn’t have much to talk about so he stayed quiet. Once you started to hum the song, “Wars of hearts,” by Ruelle. “ It had caught his attention. Not because you were awful. He was just simply curious. He stays quiet but fully paying attention to your voice. Soon as you reached his dorm. He stops at the door and turns to face you.
“Oi, what was that sound you were making?” He had asked
“Sound? What sound?” You hadn’t realized you were humming while walking.
“The sound you were making with your mouth while walking.”
“Ohhh, humming! Sorry didn’t realize I was doing that. I sometimes hum a song when I’m bored or something.”
“Song? Can you do, whatever you are doing, for me?” He had ask a little quieter than his normal tone. He wanted to know the words of the song. He wanted to hear the words from your lips. You had smiled at him and nodded your head.
He laid down on his bed and hugs his blanket. Once you started to sing, he paid close attention.
That was until your voice had lulled him into a peaceful slumber.

Rui:
You were a bit shaken up from the mission you had went on with Rui. Things had gotten a bit out of hand and it shook you to the core. While the anomaly had grabbed you and another girl. You were now trapped inside its belly. Afraid and slightly hurt by the acid on your leg. You had begun to sing your favorite song to calm your nerves. It was a song you loved since childhood. You parents would often sing this to you when you were scared or crying.
So as you held onto the girl you have tried to save. You began to sing, the song of your choice was, “I won’t,” by Alex G. With Lyca’s strong senses and abilities as a werewolf. He and Rui was able to find you both quickly. Your voice had helped him too. Once arriving in front of the anomaly. Rui hears a small voice within. The sound of your singing had made his heart flutter.
Lyca cuts through and pulls you both out. You were relieved, but hoped that they didn’t hear your singing. Lyca had heard you sing before. But it was Rui you were thinking about. After the mission ended, you all headed home. Rui brought up the song he heard you sing. He showered you with compliments about it and asked your to sing at his bar.
You denied the offer, but he hopes that he’ll hear you sing again.

Alan:
You were at Vagastrom waiting on Alan to finish working on the cars. You were sitting on the couch. It was just the two of you. So as you were scrolling through your phone. You were listening to music. Singing softly, you were sing a pop version of, “I won’t say (I’m in love), a!ka verison.
Alan was listening to you sing the words. It confused him a little bit at first, but continued to work on the car. He finds your voice soothing, much different than the music Leo or someone else would blast. Your voice was soft and gentle. Yet it was beautiful to him. It helps him relax and focus, rather than worry about other things at the moment.
The more you came over and it was just the two of you. He would hope that you sing to him. He’s a bit shy to ask, but he does tell you. That you have an amazing voice. This gives you the comfort to sing or hum around him. He would sometimes stop working and just rest. If you were to stop singing when someone comes in the room. He wouldn’t push it.
You even realize that he held a small smile as you sang to him.

Tohma:
Tohma and Jin has asked you clean around. A bit irritated, you do it anyways. You were heading to the laundry room to wash Jin's clothes. You had your earbuds in while listening to music. While walking down the hall. You were singing the song, “Please please please, by Sabrina Carpenter.”
Tohma was walking down the hall when he hears you singing. Stopping at the door. While your back was turned as you placed the clothes in the washer. He listens to you, he held a smile as he watches you bob your head side to side to the music.
After you started the washer you turned around to see Tohma. You screamed and softly laughed in embarrassment.
“How long have you been there?” You’ve asked.
“Hmm only a few seconds.”Embarrassed, you couldn’t met his gaze.
“You have a lovely voice MC. I do hope to hear it again. Though I’m afraid I have matters to attend.” He simply bowed and walked away leaving you with your face red as a tomato.
“The things he makes me feel.”
Little did MC know, Tohma was now humming to the song he heard you singing too.

Towa:
You were hanging out with Towa for the day. He had been patiently waiting to hangout and play with him. So to make it up to him. You decide to spend the entire day with just him. Both of you were cuddling under a tall tress as you talked about anything.
As a quiet moment takes over. It was peaceful and relaxing. Towa now moved to lay his head on your lap.
“Dandelion, sing me a song.”
“A song? Why would you want me to sing?” He had explain briefly that you once song Peekaboo a song to put him asleep. So now he wants you to sing for him. He pouts as he explains.
It was true, a week ago. You had helped Haru feed Peekaboo as he went to attend the other animals. Peekaboo, soon after he ate, didn’t want to be put down. So you rocked him to sleep as you sang to him. Towa was in the room and felt a little jealous. So now that he has you all to himself. He wanted to be spoiled too.
So then you began to think of a song. You had started to sing, “Waves, by Paige.” This made him incredibly happy. He quickly stands up and pulls you up to dance with him.
With pure laughter and smiles. You both dance around.
At a far distance was Ren and Haru with Peekaboo.
“They look like having fun.”
“ugh.”

Hello! If you're still taking requests, can I ask for some headcanons for Tohma, Rui, Lyca, Alan, and Towa overhearing the reader humming to themselves. If they ask why, the reader just goes "I don't know, but I have found myself humming a lot since I've been going on missions" or as I like to call them "traumatic event speedruns"
Just in case, I wanted to answer this and say that I added Towa to this HC here

Haru:
Mc headed over to Jabberwock to assist with the animals. It was a long week and maybe this will cheer them up? They’ve always enjoyed spending time with the boys and Peekaboo. After making your way through the entrance. MC see a wide grassy field. So far there wasn’t any signs of animals or ghouls nearby. Just a straightforward path to the dorm. As MC walked on the side walk, they looked around deep far into the distance.
“Gahahha! Watch out!!” MC heard a voice behind them. As soon as they turned around Mc see a goat like anomaly, running towards them. Panic begins to set in.
‘Oh gosh, oh gosh, oh gosh! What should I do!?’ They sway left and then right. Unsure which direction to go.
“BAM”
“Ow” They cried as the goat ran straight into them and slammed its head into theirs. Haru quickly runs over to them and helps Mc up.
“Gah! Are you okay MC?” He questioned after seeing what the goat did. MC had their hand on their forehead. Once he removed their hand to take a look. There was a knot on their head.
“Is it bad?” He looks into their eyes.
“No, no, no! Nothing an ice pack can’t fix!” He stated cheerfully. Haru takes their hand gentle and guide them to the dorm. In the dorm Ren was sitting on the couch watching YouTube. After hearing the door creek open. Ren looks up from his phone.
“What happened to you?” While he raised one of his brows, he asked.
Not fully wanting to admit what just happened. MC pouted and removed their hand from their forehead.
“Eh? Yeesh.” Haru had come back in the room and handed MC an ice pack. Once they have placed it on themselves , he hummed to himself. “MC, why didn’t you move out the way?” His voice carried with concern.
“I-I was going to, but I panicked and I-I didn’t know where it was heading...” MC explained their thought process. They stumble with their words as they feel the rush of embarrassment forming on her face. He chuckled and patted her back. “Hey it’s all okay. It could’ve been worse.” He explained to MC in a tempt to cheer them up. MC smiled and nodded their head.
“Yeah! I could have broken a nose or busted my head!” MC spoke with a cheerful voice and good attitude. Haru loved this about MC. He stands up straight with both hands on his hips. “That’s the spirit! Gahahah!!” His laugh rings throughout the dorm and They joined him.

Towa
Upon, MC’s arrival. They have offered Towa a dandelion. Which to their surprise, Towa eats it before they could say anything. From that day on. He had taken a liking to MC. Though he isn’t much of a talker. He still listens and communicate the best that he can. Towa would nod his head, yes or no while he makes little sounds. Mc is able to tell by the tone of Towa’s hums whether he is saying ‘yes’ or ‘no.’
Right now, both of them are sitting on the hill watching the sunset. Mc would do most of the talking. Meanwhile, Towa would listen. He enjoys hearing all of her stories. Rather they were happy, sad, silly, or scary. Though, the one thing he loves the most. Would be how caring and mind she is. She would often stop by with homemade lunches for all of them. Making sure that each of them had at least a healthy full meal. Mc would even take care of peekaboo, while Haru and Towa was out. Often when Mc makes the meals. She would make sure Towa’s was perfect. Favoritism? Probably. She spends a lot of time with him. So why not put a lot of effort into making his meals? Mc had learned which flowers he likes to eat. Some flowers he would eat. While others he likes to smell and admire.
Towa also loves to cuddle with her. He would sit her, right between his legs and hold her to his chest. Recently, Mc has been with the other ghouls and helping them out. This makes Towa extremely upset, he misses her so much. So, now they are both cuddling was they watch the sunset. When it starts to get dark outside. Towa tells her how much he enjoys being around her. So much that he wishes it never ends. He will always be grateful for the things Mc do. Not only for him, but Haru too.

Ren:
Ren was working at the Mystery Diner this evening. He had messaged MC about joining him. They were planning on watching horror movies and playing video games together. But unfortunately, MC wasn’t available that night. They were off on another mission with the other ghouls from another dorm. Recently MC has been cancelling the hangouts due to the missions. Ren sighs heavily, he knows deep down they don’t mean to cancel on him. Yet, he couldn’t help, but miss their present.
Shortly after the mission, MC had gone to the school store to find something that Ren might like. They went from alle to alle. They couldn’t find anything there. Disappointed, they sighed. Then and idea came to mind. They decided to make him a gift. ‘Maybe that will cheer him up? Hopefully this isn’t cheesy or makes things weird...’ Alongside of some snacks he might like. This took them a few days to make his a cute sorry gift. They have messaged him, asking if he was either at the dorm or at the diner. He had clarified that he was at the dorm. Shortly, MC walking into the dorm. Ren wasn’t in the lobby, nor was he in the kitchen. That could only mean one thing. He was in his room.
‘Knock Knock’ MC hits their knuckle on the door. Ren opens the door to see who it was. They had their hands behind their back. Standing in front of him was MC. Looking guilty like a child who had done something wrong. “Oh hey” He was the first to speak. Ren opens the door wider and lets them in. Mc sits down on the edge of his bed and took a deep breath.
“Ren, I’m so sorry for cancelling the past few hangouts. To make it up to you. I’ve made you this. They showed him the basket of horror movies, his favorite snacks, and cute little items that reminded MC of him. There was a shark key chain. A small plushie of his favor horror movie character, and a note for him.
“Don’t read the note yet. I rather you read it when I leave. I’m truly sorry Ren, I hope you can forgive me.”
Ren’s heart beats faster and louder. His ears red as his cheeks. He was speechless, how on earth is he able to talk now? He can’t even look them in the eyes. His fists balled up from his anxiety. He takes in a deep breath. Looks them in the eyes and spoke.
“You didn’t need to all this, but thanks.” At the end of his sentence. He looked away extremely bashful. With his hand rubbing the back of his head. MC knew that all was forgiving. Ren have asked them if they wanted to stay and watched the movies with him and share the snacks. Both of them hearts swells with a certain feeling. Who knows where things will lead in the future.

Omg yes!!! Ever seen School Daycare? The absolute adorable anime ever. It’s so cute!! I need someone to draw Haru as a babysitter at a daycare with little baby Ren, Towa and MC! You can’t forget the baby of all babies, Peekaboo!
