it's my birthday today, but I have a law exam. 😔 throwback to one of the drawings I made as a smol child. I started out drawing superheroes with markers. now I draw an angry sewer man with his kidnapped wife. we've come a long way.

My interpretation of Erik! It's been a long time since i've drawn in an anime style. I forgot how fun it is, because you can just go wild with "evil" expressions 😈.

A sketch of Erik with his daughter, Kiera! The name means "little dark one". She's from this RP I'm doing with a friend.
Kiera's got the personality of a gremlin, like her dad. Adventurous, stubborn, and smart as hell! Erik makes her clothes from expensive fabrics and then she proceeds to play outside in the mud. (He still makes expensive clothes for her anyway.) She comes home bringing living bugs. Christine doesn't like that their daughter runs up to her with a fecken spider and wriggling worms in her hands. (Erik loves that.) She's not musical, but she's got the biggest heart thanks to her parents. She wants to help people with deformities later in life. Nobody should have to live the way her dad did. (She'll become a doctor, one of the first few female ones.)
Baby Kiera is not afraid of Erik's face. She's afraid of the mask. She likes his face. It's the face that sings to her and smiles at her. She doesn't think he's a monster. That makes him feel things. All in all, she's a sweet kid, but one that raises hell. A combination of Erik and Christine's strengths.
The thing about animals is that they don't judge you. They accept you the way you are.
Trying to make a character design for Nadir (Daroga). He's got a glass eye… He lost it trying to protect young Erik from attackers. Erik owes him because of that and won't hurt him. After all, Nadir lost a freaking eye for him! Can't Punjab Lasso him. My boy Nadir is very grumpy and tired and I relate.
I promise I'm shading the Nadir drawing but I got distracted and drew little Kiera again (Eristine's daughter), and also made a humble addition to the @birdstooth cinematic universe by trying to doodle Kiera and Christine in their style. 😌 That was a lot of fun!!

Nadir's reaction to being called a "great booby" by Erik once again. Here's my design for the Daroga! He lost his eye trying to protect Erik. He's also given up on grooming his hair and lets it grow. Erik teases him about it.
