My first Moomin fic! I’ve seen a few posts in the Snufkin tag about the idea that Snufkin doesn’t return with the spring, he brings spring himself, and after watching “Moomin and Little My’s Adventure,” I had an idea of how to play with that concept a little more. I’m sure someone out there has done this before, but I hope you like my take on it!

Summary: After Little My is frozen by the Lady of the Cold (The Moomins, Ep 22), Moomin and Too-Ticky try to warm her up, but are unsuccessful. Will Little My be a block of ice forever?

“She’s still frozen!” Moomin fretted, staring down at Little My. He and Too-Ticky had placed her in front of the wood stove in the bath house, wrapped her up in blankets, and had even taken turns hugging her small, cold form, but she hadn’t warmed up even a little bit.

“I know,” Too-Ticky said, brow furrowed. “I don’t know what else to do, though. The Lady of the Cold is very powerful - I’m not sure even the Hobgoblin could undo her magic if he were here.”

Moomin made a distressed noise. “We can’t just leave her like this, though!”

“We might not have a choice,” she sighed.

“Well - well - oh!” His ears perked up as an idea suddenly struck him. “If there’s a Lady of the Cold, is there also a Lady of the Warmth? I bet she could de-ice Little My!”

“If there is, I haven’t heard of her,” Too-Ticky said thoughtfully. “But I suppose it does make sense.”

What’s up with the humans in Moominvalley?? (2019) Like are they actually human, or just humanoid? Because I’ve seen people draw Snufkin and sometimes Little My with a tail. I mean Mymble seems to be a human rabbit mix because of how many children she has (lol) but seriously there’s only like a handful of humans and whenever they pop up I’m just so confused by their presence

Too-Ticky seems to be human and imma just assume so because 😎👍 but Snufkin and Little My aren’t off the hook because I’ve seen that in a different version of Moominvalley Snufkin has a dad?? (Pfft can’t relate) and isn’t his name like The Joxter? And that he has a tail in that version because if so then does Snufkin in that version have a tail too or not? And if not is that because of Mymble?

I’m not sure either way but I will say I do love seeing Snufkin with a tail, I think it’s adorable and tails are under appreciated in my eyes but thank you for reading this and have a lovely day/night/time!!
