Wait, people actually think Emma and Kitty are twins? I thought a good amount of people knew that Emma was Kitty’s older sister by three years:
a couple months ago, i realized i never watched ridonculous race so i binged watched it and i love it, so i decided to make a whole au for my two favs from roti to be in it bc severe autism doesnt rest /lh
some changes are that they have replaced the daters and i changed up their designs! i gave lightning a more laid back sporty look to show he’s not working as hard to be on top all of the time anymore and i gave brick a “fashionable yet practical” look bc he’s working on going to fashion school and he deserves it.
most of their dynamic is basically a bromance (or more, whose to say) but with conflict at the beginning as Lightning is still learning to work with others and Brick is having trouble getting him to understand that they are a team and have to do certain challenges a certain way. and it develops from there (they do get eliminated ep 23 like the daters but hey, they had fun)
was this an elaborate way to ship these two? maybe, mayhaps it was.
I just realized that I forgot about Ridonculous Race, but at the same time, it doesn’t have a Danganronpa counterpart, too.
I like how both the Total Drama and Danganronpa fandoms agreed that Island-World Tour is Trigger Happy Havoc, Revenge of the Island is Goodbye Despair, and Pahkitew Island is Killing Harmony (and I guess Dramarama is Ultra Despair Girls and All-Stars is Ultimate Summer Camp). Which brings me to this question: what is the 2023 revival’s Danganronpa counterpart?
I just wanted to talk about my post about who the worst total drama characters are. I’m making this before I get any hate. I just wanna say, if my opinion offends you, I’m so so sorry. This is just my opinion and if you don’t like it, I’m really sorry and I’ll try to do better. I don’t wanna make anyone offended. If you like the characters I listed in that post, I support you all the way and I would understand why you like them. There are plenty other characters I don’t like either. I’m sorry if that makes you mad. Idk if my opinion will offend anyone but if I get hate comments, it’s alright♥️

personal thoughts on courtney and emma because my total drama hyperfix is coming back hard
total drama characters who i hc as aromantic (and maybe aroace) with little ramblings under all of them because I believe the world needs to know
Ella's in denial about being aro- it's her internalized amatonormativity. She obviously looks up to fairy tales with happy endings where the girl gets the guy and lives happily ever after. I think she turned to "liking" Dave for a bit because of that, because he fulfilled this role of being her “prince”, not because she actually liked him all that much. Typical hopeless romantic turning out to be aro situation (or maybe I’m projecting). Maybe an explanation as to why her liking Dave feels so forced to me, or maybe I want to justify Pahkitew’s bad writing
DEEJ. DJ. I think he’s been sure of this for a while now. He doesn’t show romantic attraction towards anyone in the show at all, and in instances when it's insinuated by his peers he seems repulsed at the idea (this post here just sums it up so much better than I could). He's super content with how things are for him and long accepted that he’s aro. He’d probably still want to be in a QPR though imo!
OKAY. Realizing now that Ella’s really the only one I have any interesting reasons for hcing as aro because I can’t say much about Kitty BUT SHE’S SO ARO TO ME. Like you know when you’re aro and have that hindsight towards everyone else’s romantic relationships and also give killer love advice because of said hindsight. THAT IS HER.

YEARNING: this au/hc I have about courtney and emma being childhood rivals turned best friends turned to. whatever this is.
I'm writing a little something for this au right now and I don't want to spoil it too much. but I'll spare some details on how their friendship formed, plus other hcs that apply to this au:
courtney and emma are the top students at every school they've attended, which caused them to butt heads the first time they met
in middle school, however, they were both beaten by a different kid in their annual quiz bee- in which they were both mutually outraged by. they decided to put their differences aside to get to the bottom of if the game was rigged or not (it was)
it made them realized they weren't so different and even balanced each other out- with emma being more level-headed, patient, and passive while courtney was more impulsive, assertive and risk-taking, which they both respected each other for
they became inseparable since, and are closest to each other more than anyone else, and encouraging the other at a constant to become better
high school comes sometime later and emma is first to become aware of her feelings for courtney as she's realized that she's bi, and is out to both courtney and her family. courtney, however, is in denial of her own feelings and has yet to come to terms with her own sexuality
emma is chinese-filipino, her full name being emily "emma" grace liu
courtney is venezuelan-filipino, her full name being courtney sofia perdomo-de guzman
they're both bi, but realize this at different stages in their life

well, less scripted and more prompt based. idk how these reality shows work when it comes to this but uh- they were given general prompts of their characters that they had to oblige to but otherwise could expand on them. they stay pretty much truthful to how they usually are as to not make the whole experience even more uncomfortable than it is- but also play up their characters because like. hey. if me and my best friend had to pretend to be in love even though we're not compatible sexuality wise I'd want to make it as silly as fucking possible.
still. ew. the prompts they were given for their characters especially

decided to do this little challenge i saw on twitter with emma because i've been drawing her since i've been well. drawing! (a blank version of the challenge and closeups as well under the keep reading line!)
talking about nemma because brainrot and i love them 3 2 1 go.
emma loves jane austen to an unhealthy degree. she got obsessed with her books at 15 and never stopped being obsessed with them since. she's kind of embarrassed to admit this to anyone except for This One Time confessing the detail to noah around the time when they've moved in with each other and only when she was drinking way too much one night on a particularly bad day- she wasn't one to let anything overwhelm her, but even someone like her would plummet at at least SOMETHING that law school would throw at her, and found comfort in wine.
on her 3rd glass noah managed to get her to bed before she could get anything more and had her settle down a bit. and she utters out how not even jane austen could make her feel particularly better right now, and noah- out of curiosity, a way to lighten her load even by a little amount, and maybe even out of a want to tease her, just a bit, because she doesn't usually let things she found minorly embarrassing slip- eggs her on about this. she ends up telling him of her little collection, that he apparently hadn't noticed until she pointed it out. (he only didn't notice beforehand because they decided to buy multiple ikea bookshelves to combine and make a giant one to put all their favorite books on, of which there are plenty)
he spots them around the second bottom row and picks up austen's sanditon and starts to read it aloud, softly as he could. it was rather short, but even so around half way through he found emma asleep on his chest (though regardless kept reading, even after tucking her in a bit)
the first coherent thought emma had after waking up from her hangover that morning was formed from seeing noah reading her copy of sense and sensibility on their bed, as he handed her a cup of hot coffee from their bedside table (where there were several jane austen books stacked upon each other), saying that he hasn't read it in ages and that he honestly prefers it over pride and prejudice.
and despite her tired muscles, even on her face, she smiles. it was a stupid opinion to have, she thought, sure, but she grinned more as he talked about austen than noah's ever really seen her grin for a while now, and she discusses it with him half-awake as she lays her head down on his shoulder, only pausing to let him read some of the lines from the book and to take a sip from the coffee he made her- just the way she liked it.

I never realized until now, but almost everyone in ridonculous race has black iris or black eye color. Only a few have different eyes colour like the goths (both goth and ungoth), Owen and Geoff. Just an observation tho.
my professional opinion on how total drama characters would eat their cereal (i have not watched the reboot)
