I NEED TO TELL YOU GUYS A STORY‼️

last year I went to see my chemical romance in concert, and when we got to the venue, there were some openers. Okay so the opening bands are done, and everyone is quaking in their boots because they know mcr is about to come on. The roadies are setting up the stage, it’s dark and everyone’s murmuring. Suddenly, the stage lights flash rainbow, motherfucking LADY GAGA starts playing and this dude walks on stage in a tshirt with huge letters on it that says “VACUUM GUY” and he starts vacuuming the stage. Everyone starts screaming, and then he mounts his vacuum and I kid you not rides it across the stage while born this way starts playing, he’s dancing and playing to the audience and I’m pretty sure a couple tears were shed. now my row is me, my dad, and this pack of middle aged biker men, they’re covered in tattoos and battle jackets, and I just scream “I LOVE YOU VACUUM GUY!!” They all cheer and pat me on the back and we scream that together, I bond with these men, vacuum guy is tearing it up, everyone clapped. If you’re out there somewhere, vacuum guy, I love you. Find me.

This is actually how I met a dear friend of mine. I was on the train to class when some guy in a PRISON UNIFORM (in Australia the uniforms are green and look kinda like nurses scrubs) starts asking questions about me like where I'm going, which TAFE (basically trade school) I go to, what classes I take ect. He tells me he just got out of prison and he's getting out at the same station and I should get coffee with him.

At this point I'm afraid to move and my stop the still ten minutes away. Just as the guy is about to ask where I live, a girl walks and says to me "Hey! I thought you said you missed the train sillybilly. Lucy wants us to get off here and met her at the music store". So I follow her out and she grabs my hand and we run into the next train car. The guy tried to follow but didn't see us re-enter the train so he's left on the platform.

The girl turns around and says "Are you ok? That looked creepy and thought you might want help. I heard that you go to the TAFE as me so I'll walk you."

Ever since the girl, Heaven-leigh, and I have been close friends and always met up on the train to class to look out for each other.

Don't be afraid to help someone in this way. As someone who was saved by this method, I can tell you that the person you help will be so grateful that you were there.

It's not just girls being harassed by creepy guys that need this but anyone who is being harassed. Like a Muslim women being insulted for her religious beliefs, a teenage boy being bullied, an open member of the LGBTQI+ community and anyone else who is scared and cornered.

We are all human beings and no one should be afraid to go about their day. A simple conversation, even just a few words can help someone get out of at best an uncomfortable situation and at worst a life threatening situation.

Happy is easy when you know what to do. You got to love the world, try to be a friend. When someone asks just tell them again. - Austin Roberts "Love the world"

ALL THE MONEY IN THE WORLD (Dir: Ridley Scott, 2017).

ALL THE MONEY IN THE WORLD (Dir: Ridley Scott, 2017).

Based on events which shocked the world back in 1973, All the Money in the World relates the story of Pablo Getty (Charlie Plummer), 16 year old grandson of billionaire oil baron J Paul Getty (Christopher Plummer) who was kidnapped and ransomed for $17,000,000. Pablo’s mother and estranged daughter-in-law of Getty, Gail (Michelle Williams) cannot pay the fee and appeals to Getty Snr. Though a pittance to a man of his standing, Getty refuses to put up the money; instead hiring ex-Fed Fletcher Chance (Mark Wahlberg) to investigate the abduction.

Best known for big budget sci fi and widescreen epics such as Blade Runner (R Scott, 1982) and Gladiator (R Scott, 2000), Ridley Scott may seem an odd choice to direct the true story of a kidnapping. But Scott proves his versatility in an impressively mounted, sometimes morbidly gripping thriller.

My neighbor, while I was trick or treating just says “you know it’s a treat when you wake up and the grass is green and you know you didn’t get teleported into the worm dimension” and while we were leaving he says “don’t let the turkey eat you, you have to keep the balance of things”

wtf
