(I personally don't sympathize with The Duke, but do like him as a villain and some of his lines/mannerisms made me laugh > the deoderant < , but he also represents some disturbing things for me and others. It is ok to not like him or to like him as a villain or to just like him/find him funny and write fluffy fic pieces about him, AS LONG AS YOU TAG IT RIGHT AND DON'T BASH PEOPLE WHO HAVE A DIFFERENT VIEW ON HIM.)

oh, last thing: can we as a fandom collectively agree not to do the Deceit thing again? People are going to adore Remus AND people are going to be triggered by him, and that’s how it’s gonna be and that’s ok!!!! Just tag appropriately and don’t assign moral value to whether or not someone likes him. We got real good at being respectful with Deceit but it took us a bit, so let’s skip the nasty bits altogether. 

It makes so much sense that Roman and Remus have the same powers: conjuring things into existence (but Roman does it with puppies and stuff, while Remus gives Thomas a baby and a knife), since they're both Creativity.

Deceit has the multiple arms.

Virgil has his Anxiety/Commanding Voice.

All of the Sides can shapeshift.

Everytime I watch DWIT I cant help but be sad at that part where Logan is explaining how Remus and Roman split while Remus is doing a particularly childish dance.

I just imagine a sweet little boy, five or six. He has a bad thought and he pushes it away. A little boy, maybe wearing green toy armour, starts crying uncontrollably. I don’t know. There’s something about that dance that screams trauma to me.

It’s like, Remus and Roman are portrayed by the fandom as maybe being close when they were younger, but I don’t see that. It’s like, if their parents were the natural choices Thomas’ brain made (not that I’m blaming Thomas) those choices abused and neglected Remus while bringing up Roman as normal.

Some people are loud and odd because they want to be. Some people are loud and odd because they don’t think they’ll be heard otherwise. I dunno. Tell me what you guys think!
