Мне вообще очень обидно что люди плохо относятся к разным пейрингам (если они не переходят границу закона, конечно). У меня и самой есть пейринги которые я на дух не переношу, но я никогда не хейчу их любителей, потому что это вкусовщина. А плохое отношение к пейрингу Роше/Вес я вижу довольно часто.

Я не планировала выкладывать свои арты с ними, поэтому они у меня выглядят хуже остальных, но я подправила один, мой самый лучший :3

In general, it's upsetting to me that people have a bad attitude towards different ships (unless they do not cross the line of the law, of course). I myself have pairings that I can't stand, but I never hate their fans, because it's a matter of taste. And I see a bad attitude towards the Roche/Ves pairing quite often.

I did not plan to post my art with them, so they look worse than the my others, but I corrected one, my best :3

Честно говоря, я никогда не думала об этом, но блин, эта теория взорвала мне мозг. Она очень крутая!!! И к тому же логичная.

Какая бы у Роше была реакция? Ну он точно был бы разочарован, обижен и зол. Но не смотря на то, что Вернон очень вспыльчив, на холодную голову он рассуждает очень здраво. Не думаю, что он бы как либо навредил Фольтесту. Из армии, Роше, тоже не ушел бы, так как он не видит свою жизнь за ее пределами, как и остальные солдаты Синих Полосок. Может, будь он в непосредственном контакте с королем в тот момент как узнал бы об этом, высказал бы ему все что о нем думает, а потом бы жалел об этом. Что я могу сказать точно, Роше бы никогда ему не простил испорченного детства и хранил бы обиду до конца жизни.

Мне настолько понравился этот вопрос, что я нарисовала к нему полноценный арт. Ну как к нему, скорее к моменту важному для этих двоих, когда Фольтест самолично достал Роше из канавы. (Сразу скажу, такой момент не упоминался в игре. Можно сказать я сделала коктейль из фактов о прошлом Вернона🙃)

Actually, I never thought about it, but damn, this theory blew my mind. This is very cool!!! And even logical.

What would be Roche's reaction? Well, he would definitely be disappointed, offended and angry. But despite that Vernon is very hot-tempered, with a cold head, he acts very reasonably. I don't think that he would hurt Foltest. Roche would not leave the army either, because he can't see his life outside of it, like the other Blue Stripes soldiers. Maybe, if he had been in direct contact with king at the moment he found out about this, he would tell him everything what thought about him, and then regretted about it. What I can say for sure, Roche would never forgive Foltest for a spoiled childhood and would hold a grudge for the rest of his life.

I liked this question so much, so I drew to him full art. Well, not exactly to it, rather to an important moment for these two, when Foltest personally pulled Roche out of the ditch.(I must say right away that such a moment was not mentioned in the game. You can say I made a cocktail of facts about Vernon's past🙃)

Звучит интересно. Какое-то время назад я часто ловила себя на такой мысли, да и к тому же видела похожие идеи в интернете, так что спасибо за вопрос! Теперь я имею полное право высказаться на эту тему :D

Военные редко становятся хорошими правителями, и не думаю что он был бы исключением

После того, как большую часть жизни Роше думал как солдат, он вряд-ли смог бы перестроиться на мышление правителя. Кроме того, его никогда не учили этому. Не будь Вернон таким свободолюбивым, то стал бы марионеткой в чьих-то руках, но благодаря его характеру, он принимал бы законы сам и старался бы делать это на благо Темерии. Тем не менее, не думаю что даже большая часть этих законов хорошо повлияла бы на будущее страны

Всё-таки роль командира, выполняющего важнейшие поручения короля, ему подходит больше, и с ней он справляется блестяще

Sounds interesting. I've found myself thinking about this a lot a while ago, and besides, I saw similar ideas on the Internet, so thanks for the question! Now I have every right to speak on this topic :D

Military men rarely make good rulers, and I don't think Roche would be an exception

After thinking like a soldier for most of his life, Roche was unlikely to be able to adapt to the thinking of a ruler. Besides, he was never taught this. If Vernon weren’t so freedom-loving, he would have become a puppet in someone’s hands, but thanks to his character, he would make laws himself and try to do it for the good of Temeria. However, I don’t think that even most of these laws would have a good impact on the future of the country.

Still, the role of commander, carrying out the king’s most important assignments, suits him better, and he copes with it brilliantly

Какая была бы жизнь у Роше в столице Нильфгаарда?

Ох и долго же я рисовала арт к этому вопросу: мне очень хотелось показать Нильфгаард во всей его красе

Так. Давайте будем рассматривать позитивный вариант развития событий, где Роше не убили наемники Эмгыра, который хотел бы избавится от подозрительного союзника

Думаю Эмгыр бы щедро отблагодарил Роше за его поступок: дал бы звание, нового скакуна, мундир, может даже подарил бы поместье недалеко от столицы Нильфгаарда. Но не думаю что Вернон был бы ему благодарен за это. Скорее наоборот: это выглядело бы как издёвка. Как объедки брошенные собаке, лишь для того чтобы она перестала лаять. Собака не понимает что в этом жесте хозяина нет искренности, а лишь демонстрация собственной власти. Но в отличии от животного, Роше видит полную картину

Темерцы никогда не станут братьями нильфгаарцев, как и другие королевства завоёванные империей не стали. И именно Вернон орбек Темерию на долгие годы принижения со стороны Нильфгаарда. Именно он поставил ее в одно из наихудших положений в которое она могла попасть. Уверена, он думает что это был единственный выход, но в глубине души чувствует себя предателем и это чувство непрерывно грызет его изнутри

Но Роше не из тех кто теряет надежду. Он не сдался когда убили Фольтеста, а после когда убили его друзей и захватили его страну в первые же месяцы войны. Так что уверена, что он продолжит искать способы снова сделать Темерию свободной

К примеру, подрастает принцесса Анаис, и оказав должное влияние на нее и на власти Империи, лет через 10 на темерском троне может оказаться независимая королева и прямая наследница Фольтеста, активно борющаяся за свободу своей страны

What would Roche's life be like in the capital of Nilfgaard?

Oh, it took me a long time to draw art for this question: I really wanted to show Nilfgaard in all glory

Ok. Let's consider a positive scenario, where Roche was not killed by Emgyr's mercenaries, who would like to get rid of a suspicious ally

I think Emhyr would have generously thanked Roche for his action: he would have given him a title, a new horse, a uniform, maybe even given him an estate not far from the capital of Nilfgaard. But I don't think Vernon would be grateful to him for that. Quite the contrary: it would look like a mockery. Like throwing leftovers to a dog so that it stops barking. The dog does not understand that there is no sincerity in this gesture of the owner, but only a demonstration of his own power. But unlike an animal, Roche sees the full picture

The Temerians will never become brothers of the Nilfgaarians, just as the other kingdoms conquered by the empire did not. And it was Vernon who orbecked Temeria for many years of humiliation by Nilfgaard. It was he who put her in one of the worst situations she could find herself in. I’m sure he thinks that this was the only way out, but deep down he feels like a traitor and this feeling constantly gnaws at him from the inside

But Roche is not one to lose hope. He did not give up when Foltest was killed, and then when his friends were killed and his country was conquered in the first months of the war. So I'm sure he will continue to look for ways to make Temeria free again

For example, Princess Anais is growing up, and having exerted the necessary influence on her and on the authorities of the Empire, in 10 years an independent queen and direct heir to Foltest, actively fighting for the freedom of her country, may appear on the Temerian throne

I just can't get enough of Maitso's drawings in general, but her Iorveth ones are everything to me - thank you!

I love them all - they all have their unique character.

Of course, Iorveth is described more nuanced because he has more screentime. But i'd love to see more of Cedric, Ciaran, Eibhear and Elihal. Ele'yas was well done but an annoying Person, sorry ;)

That is the proof - you don't have to love someone, you can hate him / her as well. As long as there are emotions in you, the char is good written.

Aen Seidhe in TW2 versus TW3. No one matches the fabulousness thats is Iorveth though. I must say I prefer TW2 elves. (no idea why the images are so dark!)
