Okay so there’s someone here (I don’t remember their username, if you know it or if it’s you, let me know lol) that wrote a fic where in Ulysses Dies At Dawn, Jonny is Cerberus. Like Ashes is Hades (duh), Tim is Persephone — but Jonny went by the name of Cerberus, which I honestly adopted into my head because it makes a lot of sense to me. So, I liked the fic, adopted it in, now it’s made it’s way into my personal headcannons.

And that has lead to something HILARIOUS.

In “Underworld Blues”, Hercules’s part is pretty much him telling Hades that his last task was to get their dog. For anyone unfamiliar with Greek mythology, Cerberus is “Hades’s dog”.

So my brain keeps supplying me with this image of Hercules looking left and right for this dog, having no idea where the fuck it is, cause he keeps running into this short murderous guy instead, where the fuck is this dog —

And since he can’t find it he takes too long and that’s how Ashes catches him.

Realistically I know that if this were the case he would probably know that Cerberus is just a very animalistic and violent man, and not a dog, but I choose to ignore that fact cause it’s funny to me.

TLDR: Jonny is Cerberus and Hercules has no idea where the fuck the dog he’s supposed to “seize” is, takes too long, and gets caught by Ashes in Underworld Blues — is a hilarious thought to me.
