I just finished this a few minutes ago but I wanted to make a tribute to one of my most influential Vocaloid producers and I never even knew he was. I realize that this is like 3 months late but better late than never. There’s also two versions, one with my handwriting and hair in front of the arm and then a version with “Thank You, Wowaka” typed and the hair behind the arm. So, back in like the sixth grade I had first listened to Rolling Girl and Unhappy Refrain on repeat and even almost had the seventh grade History teacher add Unhappy Refrain into the class playlists (he wouldn’t let me because it’s Japanese and he couldn’t understand it 😔) but anyways Wowaka really hit home with me. I had never been in any of the situations the characters in his songs were but I could feel for them and the lyrics were very good along with the sound overall. Wowaka touched so many hearts of so many people and I hope he’s doing what he loved in the afterlife. May he rest in peace.
