i love love love physical music but i wish i had a better way to display/store/play cds...

vinyls are big and cool and i wanna hang them on my wall and stare at them because they're beautiful and picking one out and sitting down to listen to it is really fun

but i've always been drawn to cds because they're so much more usable, the ceremony (~effort~) of pulling out vinyl and having to stop to flip or swap the disc always takes me out of the experience, and their size makes them feel less... personal? to me? like an amazing lp is an art piece you have to baby, an amazing cd is a friend you can bring with you in your pocket

my car is packed full of cds and i cycle through a lot of them whenever i go anywhere and it feels like the perfect balance between having something real to hold in my hands versus tapping a screen to play something from my phone and this is like the perfect experience to me

which is so annoying when i get home and there's just stacks of them everywhere and i don't have a desktop with a disc drive and i just have headphones and not a proper stereo system and ughhhh ;_;

anyways have my favorite song off the last cd i bought

anyways fuck a sideblog i can be a little candid between horny posts as a treat

got called 'buddy' for the first time since i came out and it genuinely made me feel ill

why does the dysphoria only get worse? very unfair tbh
