Okay, to further this theory, if Matthew Modine and Dr. Brenner both exist within the same Stranger Things universe, what tv show is Matthew Modine in as of 2016? I'm thinking that Proof just ended up running for four or five seasons. Stranger Things cannot exist in the Stranger Things universe.
