VMA Gaga - Tumblr Posts

An acrylic painting based on Gaga's VMA performance of "Paparazzi", which was inspired by Frida kahlo paintings. The performance was about the destruction of a star through fame and publicity. Gaga said she pictured iconic hollywood glamour and Frida Kahlo for this performance. In the painting I created, The "bloodied" and injured gaga is reaching out for a helping hand to the strong menacing "Mcqueen" covered red lace gaga.
