WAHH Sorry For The Delay!!! - Tumblr Posts
★ — Gregory can't help but flinch back as the animatronic moves closer, down to his level — it's just a slight flinch, an involuntary reaction ( understandable when, aside from the first animatronic he found, every single one has been trying to hunt him down, including the nameless one - in - a - dozen security bots ) that he can't help but feel a bit silly ( more than silly, he feels weak ) for.
Still, he's thankful they don't move any closer than that.
He wishes Freddy had been able to come with him. Sun may be approaching him just as gently as the bear does, but there's something comforting about knowing if things go wrong, Gregory has a safe place to hide nearby. But Freddy can't. ( Freddy's just outside, waiting for him if he needs ). And Sun isn't like the others — they aren't going to hurt him. He'll have to be brave. He'll have to trust them, just like he trusts Freddy.
"I - I don't know, um, not — not really. I think .... maybe the security guard? She was following me around earlier, so - so I hid. And the doors locked before I could get out."
His voice is shaky, despite the way he tries to hold himself tall ; can't keep his eyes from constantly flickering around the surroundings, on edge, waiting for something to go wrong.
"The other animatronics, they — they've been chasing me. S-something's wrong with them. Except for Freddy."
A quick shake of his head, trying to keep himself calm enough to keep going despite the way his breathing is becoming a bit more erratic and panicked. Get a hold of yourself. Gregory's always taken care of himself — this shouldn't be any different.
"H-he told me to come in here. There's a, uh — a security pass .... that might be able to help me get out."

It was so late. The Plex itself may have just closed its doors for the night, but the Daycare on its own had been closed for a good few hours now. Dead silent, aside from the whimsical track playing from above... but a trained ear would only hear the deafening quiet of a once bustling paradise. So, having a child suddenly tumble their way down the slide at this hour was much more than concerning on its own, never mind the... other concerns present here.
This child was vividly distressed, inside and outward--and the initial "I don't know" that the attendant had been presented with in reference to their initial inquiry made the animatronic wince slightly. Made significantly worse when... they know. Sun knows that there must be something wrong, even outside of the Daycare... and this child was living proof. All of the proof that the Daycare Attendant could ever need.
When a child mentions something as heinous as death, or by goodness, killing... it can make even the most seasoned of caretakers' heart jump to their throat. While they did lack such, Sun felt something in them jump, that's for sure.
"Awww... hey, hey, hey--i-it's okay...!" Sun lowered to the boy's height with a quick kneel, though followed up by a soft, reassuring smile. They won't reach out just yet--just... try to calm him down for now.

"You are SAFE here, sunshine. No need to worry...! I would never let ANYTHING happen to you. Promise. It is what I'm HERE for, after all."
That... that was what Moon was there for, too. A bitter passing thought that panged them, but... surely their other half's condition would improve, right...? Moon had never been QUITE the same after... the incident... but... they were awake. Sun at least knew that for certain. They were watching this.
"Now, w-who is keeping you trapped here, exactly...? We will CERTAINLY do our best to help you!"
