HCS FOR MAINE?? - 🦞

Maine HCs!
One of the shortest of the states. I see him around 5'2 ish!
Contrary to popular belief, he doesn't like seafood too much! I feel like the meat would cause texture issues for him.
His hair is a mix of blond, and ginger!
Seeing as Maine is a cold state, he's constantly wearing long sleeves, but the moment it gets to 50°F is when he whips out the shorts and tank tops.
Maine is one of the only states that can actually cook, besides the southern states. The midwest can't cook shit other than brats.
Seeing as Maine is home of L.L Bean... he wears so much L.L Bean it's not even funny.
Maine is the first state that sees the sunrise in the US, so naturally he's more of a morning person! He surprisingly gets up, and cooks breakfast.
He loves blueberries and donut holes! Seeing as Maines the largest producer of blueberries in the country... be adores them! And the donut hole was invented in Maine!
wisconsin x alaska if you would
omg yes!! i'm a wisconsinite, so he's my absolute baby! i adore him so so much!! :3 this will probably be wisconsin centric... love that guy...
WiscLaska HCs!
Seeing as they're both colder states, they're constantly bundled up. Alaska's got his signature trapper hat, whereas Wisconsin has a stocking cap!
Adding onto that, they're usually found cuddling. Typically with Wisconsin laying on top of Alaska like a puppy.
Wisconsin wears shorts in the middle of winter (like 15°F) and constantly gets sick from it, and Alaska always scolds him, and cooks him soup when he's sick.
Wisconsin and Alaska both have autism. Alaska is more of the quiet, semi-verbal around most people, whereas Wisconsin is a yapper.
Wisconsin loves telling Alaska about trees and nature, seeing as Wisconsin has some of the best natural resources programs!
Alaska is...extremely tall, he absolutely towers over Wisconsin, and all of the other states. When you look at it, their height difference is hilarious, like the "He asked for no pickles" meme.
Wisconsin knows how to play the electric guitar! It was invented where I live, so it's a little personal to me! But he's that awful campfire guitar guy, he'll whip it out and start jamming!
Whereas Wisconsin can play guitar, Alaska can sing really well. He'll spend nights softly singing Wisconsin to sleep when tornados or other disasters hit his state.

New Jersey HCs!
God. He hates when people fucking mimic the accent. Jersey has a strong accent, and the other states (...Florida) like to mimic it and make fun of him for it.
Oh god, the Jersey Shore era. He was a basketball short, tank top wearing MESS.
The state, New Jersey is actually home to the most diners! So you'll often find Jersey cookin' up a really good greasy ass burger! Surprisingly, he's an.. okay chef!
New York and New Jersey are both brothers, and they butt heads... a LOT. They're always always always fighting. Theres never a moment where they're together that they're not arguing, and if there is...? Oh god, run.
Surprisingly, he enjoys gardening. Jersey is the garden state for a reason! He keeps a small garden with mostly tomatos, potatoes, corn, and bell peppers!
Jersey is one of the shorter states! Looking at the size of the states, he'd be pretty short, maybe around 5'6!

Theater kids. Oh they are both theater freaks!!! (Projecting here but!) York is constantly cast in theater specifically, while California is an avid consumer! They're constantly singing together, and the entire statehouse gets annoyed.
Hollywood California. Ohhh Hollywood California. He was constantly starring in movies, he was one of the leading men. He typically played the love interest. The fan service was insane. And you know what York thought of all this?? Oh he loved it. Yeah, he'd get jealous that he was kissing other people, but DAMNNN he was kissing other people!!
They're often cuddling, California's love language is touch, so He's constantly clinging to York.
California is a YAPPER!! He'll have just sessions where he talks at York, and just rambles for hours on end. He infodumps a lot, about what he's hyperfixating on, and his special interests. York loves to listen ti him, he finds it genuinely endearing. He love's California's voice.
California had a "Phase" where he was a pop star.... he's embarrassed about it, but York actually loved it. He loved listening to California sing, and be so passionate about something.
Punk New York. He's got spikes, leather, battle vest, patch pants, crust pants!! He's a true punk, with his loser tendy boyfriend. <3

New Mexico HCs!
He's only of the only states that can genuinely handle spice. The vast majority of the statehouse is absolutely awful at handling spice, but New Mexico can just..eat raw peppers with no reaction.
He absolutely hates when the theater loving states sing Santa Fe from Newsies. It makes him want to start swinging. When New York sings it? God he's plugging his ears, and grabbing a bat to smack him.
Smokey The Bear is actually from New Mexico! So I think this guy has Smoke The Bear merch for DAYS! He's a huge fan dude. Only you can prevent forest fires .
He's one of the youngest states! Seeing as New Mexico is one of the "newest" states, he's super young.
It surprises a lot of people, but New Mexico is actually extremely artistic! He's constantly found painting and sketching. He typically paints / draws landscapes and flowers. He absolutely adores how nature looks, and wants to preserve it in paper.
He switches between English and Spanish often. It's a bilingual struggle. Often when he's upset, he'll begin shouting in English, and then it turns into a jumbled mix of Spanish and English.
He believes in UFOs, and aliens! A UFO crashed in Roswell in 1947, and he's been extremely passionate about it ever since! He talks about it all the time.
He's got a large scar on his back, a circular explosion scar! This is from when the first atomic bomb was created, and then detonated as a test in New Mexico.
He has a love / hate relationship with Breaking Bad. He absolutely hates that it's currently what he's known for. Every time that he hears where Walter White lives he goes fucking insane. Oh that boy just goes crazy.

He is unfortunately a theater kid. Broadway is in NYC, and god this boy.... tell him to stop singing jesus christ.
Surprisingly a true punk. He has crust pants, and they.. they smell but it's okay he's an icon.
He has a thick accent, and hates when people mock him for it. One more "I'm walkin' 'ere" and he'll genuinely kill a man. It pisses him off so so much.
He owns a few rats! He picked 'em up from the streets, and they're his best friends. Their names are; Shithead, Martin, Trash Boy, Rob, and Asshole!!
With what goes on in the subways... nothing fazes him, not even Florida's bullshit anymore. This man has literally seen it ALL.

Alaska is one of the only states that is taller than California, so whenever Alaska hugs him from behind, he gets so so flustered.
Alaska will cling to California during the winter, because California is a natural heater! :))
California absolutely adores when Alaska grows his beard out. He thinks Alaska looks so handsome with it.
They call each other bear-themed petnames! Alaska calls California 'Cub' or 'Grizzly' and California calls Alaska 'Kodiak' !! The bear states <3
Alaska adores California's glasses, and loves when he changes the style of them to fit the current trends, even if he liked the previous frames!
On a similar note, California dyes his hair often, so Alaska will help out! He'll help pick colors, and bleach California's hair, and actually dye it for him!
Alaska's hair is white, and GOD California loves it! Alaska mentioned dying his hair and California protested so insanely hard
Alaska has a bunch of tattoos! Most of them are native, and hold meanings and culture. But some are less cultural, and stuff! He had his state flower, and California's state flower on his back <3
