Here’s a

* ੈ✩‧₊˚* ੈ✩‧₊Magical update* ੈ✩‧₊˚* ੈ✩‧₊

My ability to sense auras has gotten VERY POWERFUL and idk why

(The person can be miles away and I can still sense it)

★┈┈┈┈★┈┈┈┈★┈┈┈

These are the things I can do:

- i can tell what mood people are in

- I can talk if you have or haven’t taken your anxiety and/or depression meds

- I can tell which alter is frounting with people who has DID (with color, vibe, and smell)

- I can tell what color the aura is

- I can smell what the aura smells like

★┈┈┈┈★┈┈┈┈★┈┈┈

Sadly when people go too far way from me (idk how far. i just know that when my friends go out of the state I cant feel they’re aura anymore)

I’m also not sure if this is even called an aura. I use just call it energy. I also don’t know why I can do this.

If you can provide any information on why this is happening or how that would be very helpful. :)

How To Make A Spell Locket

How To Make A Spell Locket

I love lockets. Especially vintage ones that have filigree designs engraved on them. Or sometimes they come in different shapes like hearts, circles or ovals. Lockets to me already feel kind of mysterious reminding me of poison rings but for keeping photos or secrets inside.

If you have a locket sitting around, this spell is the perfect way to switch it up and wear your locket with your spell intention. If you need a locket first, try checking out thrift shops or craft stores. You can find pretty inexpensive lockets at any jewelry rack at a second hand shop, or score a pack of them at your local craft supply store.

Making spell lockets is really simple and only requires a few ingredients depending on what you choose to designate your locket for.

Protection Spell Locket

Black Obsidian Chips

Mugwort, Sage, and/or Rosemary

Black Candle Wax

Incense

Abundance Spell Locket

Citrine Chips

Basil

Green Candle Wax

Incense

Psychic Abilities Spell Locket

Amethyst

Jasmine

Purple Candle Wax

Incense

To Find Other Witches Locket

Labradorite

Rosemary

Gold candle wax

Incense

To create your spell locket set your items out in front of you and light the candle color correspondence to the spell locket you are creating. Light your candle and incense. Meditate to clear your mind and cast a white circle around yourself and your spell.

Light your incense and cleanse your locket by passing it through the smoke first. Next, cleanse the crystal chips and herbs you will be using.

Arrange the crystal chips in your locket. Next, arrange the herbs. Both the crystals and the herbs should be placed in a way that the locket can still be closed and latched if necessary. If you have too many pieces in your locket, reduce them by removing a few herbs and crystal chips.

Once you have the desired amount and your locket can easily close, take your candle and let the wax drip inside setting the crystal chips and herbs inplace. (Careful not too much!) Let the wax dry. If you’ve over dripped or are no longer able to close the locket, carefully take a toothpick and scrape the excess wax off.

Set your intention over the locket by reciting the following but paraphrasing for your intention: I create this amulet for ______________ and charge it with my intention to _________________.  (For instance you can say, “I create this amulet for protection and charge it with my intention to protect me from all harm.”)

If you are actively wearing the necklace, don’t forget to take it outside and charge it under the full moon each month.

Constellation Andromeda

The constellation Andromeda is found in far northern skies, adjoining Perseus and Cassiopeia. It is often called the chained lady, for it was pictured on ancient star maps as a beautiful and tragic figure of a woman, who was bound by chains to rocks on the seashore. How did the fair Andromeda find herself in this predicament? Andromeda was the daughter of King Cepheus and Queen Cassiopeia . The queen had offended some beautiful sea nymphs, called the Nereids, by claiming to be more beautiful than they. As retribution for this affront to his charges, the sea god, Poseidon sent a monster, Cetus to wreak havoc along the shores of King Cepheus’s kingdom.

In desperation, Cepheus consulted an oracle to find out if there was some way that he could put an end to the destruction the monster was causing. He was told that he had to give the monster a living sacrifice-his daughter-which is how Andromeda came to be chained to the rocks. As the terrified Andromeda waited to be devoured, the hero Perseus happened along and asked who she was and why she was in this pitiful state. At first, improbably shy, Andromeda said nothing, but gradually she told Perseus everything, ending with an ear-splitting scream as she saw Cetus approaching. Perseus, fresh from killing the Gorgon Medusa, still had her head in his hand. He turned the Gorgon’s face to Cetus, which promptly turned to stone and sank. As his reward, Perseus claimed Andromeda’s hand in marriage and she later bore him six children.

Constellation Andromeda

The great spiral

Andromeda is easy to locate as it is joined to Pegasus, one of the most unmistakable of all constellations owing to its square of four stars. Visually, the individual stars in Andromeda are not particularly noteworthy. The most interesting object by far is a blurry patch, found roughly midway between the  Square of Pegasus and the W-shape of Cassiopeia. This patch resembles a nebula or gas cloud, but in fact it is a distant star island, or galaxy. It is often called the Great Spiral because of its structure, which shows up when viewed through a powerful telescope.

Your power comes from you first.

No one else.

No other beings. No herbs or crystals or tools. It comes from you.

You are the pinnacle of your power, everything else is just something to channel it.

running list of practical magic

these past two weeks, i have gotten more into the habit of incorporating magic into my daily life. it’s been great! and i just wanted to throw out a few tips. i think i will update this over time. <3

use bay leaves for simple spells/wishes - write a name, intention, desire on the leaf and burn it. this spell is really easy to incorporate because it is endlessly customizable and results are p quick!

turning your broom bristles up! - this is generally said to bring good fortune, but i used it recently to avoid an impending bad fortune and it worked beautifully!

cleansing + cleaning - i try (try, being the operative word here) to clean my room once a week. turning this into a ritual has made it more fun and more personal! put salt in the corners of room before you sweep. create magical washes with rose, lavender, orange blossom, and/or Florida water (use these to dust too!). light incense in rooms as you go.

use floral waters in hair and on the face as glamours or spells - i’ve been spraying rose water in my hair as the L in my LOC method and using a rose water based toner on my face for protection from street harassers. i also use unisex cologne with intention as a glamour for neutral gender expression.

Kali, Xenophobia, and Hinduism

Read the full article here: https://alekseevna.medium.com/kali-xenophobia-and-hinduism-33b3a2bc4464?sk=a21c1df32e7b541d8a2f790e959419e1

Here’s a paragraph from what I wrote:

Kali is a very popular deity in the Hindu pantheon. She is the goddess of time, paradoxes, and destruction. Kali attracts many people worldwide due to her fascinating iconography (via statues, paintings, tapestries, and drawings). However, since she is my own maternal deity, I have noticed some pretty interesting trends. Many men who approach Kali often say things like she is “terrifying” and other “heavy” language choices that imply she is absolutely unapproachable to men and/or those who are new to learning about her in general. Women, on the other hand, are fascinated and have a powerful yearning to learn about her with little to no fear.
