I just love found families
and the idea of someone knowing your trauma and knowing you so intimately
without it necessarily being romantic
the idea of someone being there for you no matter what because you’ve already been to hell together
and on the other side they’re still there
just as changed as you
just as damaged as you
but holding your hand because it’s in the same ways
and you couldn’t dream of letting them go
