Welp, adding this to the list of headcanons...

How about Wolf learning the Wolf Fang Fist technique?

After taking some time to think about it, Wolf had decided heneeded something new to add to his current moveset. He really wasn’t fond ofthe close association between him and the Star Fox pilots, and though it wasunderstandable because the three of them came from the same place, Wolf wantedhis distance, which led to him considering changing the way he fought. He, Fox,and Falco already had a good amount of differences in fighting style, but thecanine wasn’t satisfied yet.

So he decided to come up with a new move to replace one of his oldones, one that would be far superior to anything Fox could use.

However, he was having trouble finding the inspiration for a newmove. He already used punches, claws, kicks, even a blaster in the moveset healready had. These moves were what he was best at, so it was especiallydifficult to think of something that could be both unique from his other moves,and powerful enough to outshine Fox and Falco.

Incidentally, he found what he was looking for when passingthrough a lounge, something on the TV flashing and catching his attention. Hestole a glance at the screen, watching as two cartoon characters fought eachother. A picture of a wolf flashed on screen before one of the characters hitthe other rapidly, then finished by striking with his palms and sending theother character flying.

Wolf was rather impressed by the move. It looked powerful, and ifwolves were involved, he couldn’t be a better fit for using the technique. Hesilently left for the training room, deciding then that he would try to utilizeit in his moveset.

He spent the next few hours in the training room, working onperfecting the move. While it had seemed simple enough, it was actually alittle tough for him to get his strikes to move fast enough as what he’d seenon the TV, and the hit with his palms didn’t have as much impact as he’d like.But a few of the fighters had found him mid-training and offered their help,and with it Wolf eventually perfected his new move.

However, when he’d finally tried it full-force on a sandbag, thepoor thing sustained an absurd amount of damage, and with the final strike it wentflying. It ran right through the wall of the training room and still hadn’tlost momentum, rocketing forwards to ram into other parts of the house.

Meta Knight, who had been watching, shook his head. “That was impressive,” he said. “But I don’t think you’ll be able to use that in your moveset. It isway too strong.”

Wolf growled and left the training room in bittersweet defeat. Hedidn’t get something new for his moveset like he’d hoped, but at least he hadthe satisfaction of having a new and strong fighting technique at his disposal.
