Vol aller-retour à Ouessant pour un café :D Ca a fait un chère café mais ça en a valu le coup. J'avais besoin d'y aller pour faire une photo particulière d'un endroit particulier à Ouessant pour une exposition photo. Round trip flight to Ouessant for a coffee :D It was an expensive coffee but it was worth it. I wanted to go there to take a special photo of a particular place in Ouessant for a photo exhibition. Vol aller-retour à Ouessant pour un café :D Préparation du vol, heureusement je n'avais rien à m'occuper, c'est mon copain et pilote qui s'occupait de tout, j'avais juste à faire des photos :) Il faut d'abord calculer le poids embarqué, pesée de chacun, tout habillé ainsi que du matériel emporté, calcul également du voyage en distance parcourue et temps de vol pour définir le besoin en carburant et s'assurer de ne pas dépasser la capacité d'emport de l'appareil. Puis il faut calculer la répartition du chargement (2 personnes et un peu de matériel photo) Passant au-dessus de la mer, sans gilets de sauvetage, l'itinéraire n'est pas le même (altitude au-dessus de la mer), il fallait donc emporter un peu plus de carburant dans le WT9 Dynamic Cette photo a été faite ici : https://maps.app.goo.gl/5fjFTyHucgzwRwTG9
Round trip flight to Ouessant for a coffee :D Preparation of the flight, luckily I didn't have anything to worry about, it was my friend and pilot who took care of everything, I just had to take photos :) You must first calculate the weight on board, weighing everyone, fully dressed as well as the equipment carried, also calculating the trip in terms of distance traveled and flight time to define the fuel requirement and ensure not to exceed the capacity of the vehicle. En approche pour l'atterrissage... Approaching for landing…
Nous quittons le continent pour rejoindre l'Ile de Ouessant... Ouessant se trouve droit devant nous à environs 25km, à droite du nez de l'avion, c'est l'Aber Ildut que nous longeons.
We leave the continent to reach the Island of Ouessant… Ouessant is located straight ahead of us at around 25km, to the right of the nose of the plane, it is the Aber Ildut that we are following.
l'Ile de Ouessant vu du ciel depuis l'ouest à bord du WT9 Dynamic. Le continent est au fond de la photo (quasiment invisible) C'est la première fois de ma vie que je voyais Ouessant d'aussi près. J'avais déjà vu Ouessant une fois auparavant mais de plus haut. Là, j'ai carrément posé les pieds dessus, ça a été une expérience amusante pour un café qui en aura valu la peine. J'avais envie d'y faire une photo sur cette Ile, en plus d'y boire un café. Ca fera l'objet d'une publication à venir.

The continent is in the background of the photo (almost invisible) It’s the first time in my life that I’ve seen Ouessant so close. I had seen Ouessant once before but from higher up. There, I actually set foot on it, it was a fun experience for a coffee that was worth it. I wanted to take a photo on this island, in addition to drinking coffee there. This will be the subject of a future publication.
Posé à Ouessant... L'atterrissage s'est bien passé mais je n'en avais aucun doute, j'ai un excellent pilote et l'avion, un WT9 Dynamic, est vraiment très confortable. Je me rappel que pour repartir, le décollage à bien failli tourner court. Un gros goéland avait décidé de prendre la piste pour un terrain de jeu et de s'y poser devant nous... Mais une fois lancé pour décoller, il nous était difficile de faire une manœuvre d'évitement ou même de freiner pour attendre qu'il comprenne. Il a eu chaud mais nous avons pu continuer notre prise d'élan et décoller (non sans avoir eu chaud aussi)
Landed in Ouessant… The landing went well but I had no doubts, I have an excellent pilot and the plane, a WT9 Dynamic, is really very comfortable. I remember that to leave, the takeoff almost came to an end. A big gull had decided to take the track as a playground and land there in front of us… But once launched to take off, it was difficult for us to make an evasive maneuver or even brake to wait for him to understand. He was hot but we were able to continue our momentum and take off (not without being hot too)
