RWBY: Ice Queendom food fight 🥖
So I have a recolor of Yang done, but my mind is blanking for a second palette. Can someone give me an idea or should I just post what I have?
I am so sorry that this is so late! I was busy with work and forgot to upload it. So finally, here is the recolor of Yang.
Using Gravit Designer (...you know why...), I set out on what I mentioned in Weiss’ recolor;
Giving her a sunset palette
Changing the brown patches to tan
Brightening things in her design in general
So that’s what I did, here’s a list of changes I made to Yang
I changed the bandana around her leg to red
I brightened the patches on her chest
Changed the colors of the bottom half of her jacket(added a gradient and lightened the brown)
Changed the sleeves
Changed both sets of gloves(the one on her hand was black to yellow, the other pair brown to orange)
You see the collar around her neck? Changed it from brown to yellow
That’s really all I did, I wasn’t sure what other palette to use for Yang. Other than Ruby, color wise, I liked Yang’s design. I wanted to add red to Yang since she wanted to find and meet up with Ruby. Plus it connects her with her moms, Raven and Summer. I’m not sure what I’m doing with Ruby. Maybe I can do a random palette or the palette of a different character(Torchwick)? Leave me suggestions in the comments.
I do not own RWBY or Yang Xiao Long; both are owned by Rooster Teeth.
