NOTE: This reads like a Manga, so right to left! What it says in case you can't read my handwriting : If you had the chance to leave everything you knew behind...Would you take it? I decided to just go ahead and post the first page and I'm probably just going to post them as I finish them. I almost have the second one done and then the three after that just need to be inked and shaded. Also only the first page of each chapter will have shading this intricate. The others will have shading but not quite so much? It's a little hard to explain, I guess you'll see what I mean when I post the second page. Anyway yeah. I hope it looks good! So there's this MAP on youtube with the song Fade Away by Zack Hemsey for Herobrine. It hasn't been finished yet but I can't wait to see the finished project. Also I'm not a part of it, just to be clear. “It’s ok I’m pretty sure you had no intention of getting stabbed tonight,” She assures. “Just be a little more careful next time.”
“But yeah. It was difficult. I spent a lot of time trying to hide who I was and making sure nobody knew about it. I spent a lot of time avoiding people after that. I started thinking that I was cursed, that if anyone started caring and loving me then they’d get hurt too.”
“Hence,” She continued as she used the back of her sleeve to wipe the prosthetic makeup on her face. It revealed burns she had suffered from that night. “Why I graduated in Prosthetic Makeup Effects in college.”
She also took out the contact lens in her eye, and it revealed a dull black colored eye contrasting the other eye, one that had vibrant blues swirling. It wasn’t a matter of showing the full extent, but rather that the contact in her eye was starting to bug her to an extent that couldn’t be ignored as she slides the contact back into a case.
“I have more of these on my left arm, but I won’t bore you with that,” She concludes as she pulls out her own phone, offering it to him.
“What should I do about Jason though? If you dad comes I mean.”
She understands it. She’s gonna be ok, she knows this now as she’s crying. Her tears fall to the ground in the garden. Years of carrying this burden fall to the ground in the form of tears as she lets it out. It was relieving and the healthiest thing she had ever done; to reduce herself to tears and let it all out.
For the first time in so long, she felt good. And him patting her back helped her know she was home, even if certain members of family were no longer present, temporary or permanent. Even with Logan. Especially Logan and she’s regretful of never reaching out.
She looked up, eyes puffy and her face red. She couldn’t help but to pull him into a hug, still crying. Even though he wasn’t her Logan, she never said goodbye to him before he died. The least she could do was say goodbye to this Logan.
“Sorry, you’re probably not the hugger type. I never said goodbye to my Logan, but the least I can do is say goodbye to you,” She hiccuped in between the sentences as she slowly pulled away, still sniffling as she wiped her tears with the sleeve of her jacket.
“You don’t have to be fearless, but I do understand the point. You’re welcome.”
he isn’t good in emotional moments; he’s motivated to stand up and move a few paces away to give her her privacy, but he’s spent long enough with his Dana to know that doing that would only place a distance between them, would only leave her feeling that the time for emotion between them is over, and that she ought to tamp down on the feelings once again.
Logan has suffered enough hiding from himself, has compartmentalized away enough heinous crimes, that he knows how that feels, perhaps knows it to more of an extreme extent than even Dana- because she is unflinchingly good, and he is not, so he must reckon with himself and his past every day.
all he knows is he doesn’t want to leave this moment and leave her, leave her to crush her emotions into a box and shove it to the corner of her mind- this is more important than his inability to handle complex emotional moments the majority of the time, so he’s going to soldier through, because it might not be what he does best, but, shit, for the sake of people like Kitty, like Jubilee, like Dana, he can damn well do it his best.
so he places a hand weighed down by adamantium claws between her shoulders with all the thought in the world, gently patting her back and hoping she understands the implicit-

Now he wasn't so pretty anymore, his good looks only half what they used to be but it had brought out a whole other side in the District Attorny, the one he knew existed if somebody poked and prodded him long enough. "Two-Face on the other hand, now there I might be convinced. And no, I ain't afraid of that mug, not when I look at my own every day in the mirror but Two-Face... yeah, he knows what's up. He's the one who knows how to have a good time without a care in the world, so I'd say smash if only everything he did didn't rely on a goddamn coin toss. Pass."

Let me reiderate: Likes do absolute shit on Tumblr.
The reblog button on this hellsite works similarly to the like button on instagram or tiktok. The more reblogs a post gets the more it rotates and moves around in the tags, which means more people will see it.
Plus as a content creator Reblogs always tend to keep me motivated to keep writing/creating for my fandom. Posts that have 40 likes and 0 Reblogs just kinda dampen my self esteem.
This isnt meant to sound passive aggressive (ok maybe it is a little bit) but I see y'all who like the hc posts and ao3 links. I appreciate it, I really do, but likes don't do anything for creators on Tumblr.
Reblogs are the real money maker for fandom creators and just creators in general on this site.
