He's a bit of a hypocrite

if you were injured like him, he'd be all over you, examining everything: pulse, breathing, vision, etc.

But when it's him? He's like "nah, I'm good"

It warms his heart to know you worry about him the way he worries about you, but he kinda feels bad for having made you feel that way (this man has a lot of guilt, but like I wouldn't hold it against him)

Zayne wants to always be seen in pristine condition, he has a bit of difficulty showing weaker sides of himself

You're like the only person to ever live that he will let get up in his space

Truthfully, he doesn't mind, it gives him an excuse to have contact with you

He believes worrying about him is a waste of your time (it isn't), as if he doesn't spend every waking hour of his life worrying about you or checking up on you

He tries not to be annoying with it, but being your boyfriend AND doctor is like a double whammy on his part

He appreciates when you try to make him comfortable

You seem to emulate a lot of what he does for you (ex. examining his hands to see any scars, scrapes, and bruises) and don't think he doesn't notice

It makes him feel like he does something right

When you play doctor for him, it's amusing

He knows you only know basics, but he finds it cute when you try to take care of him (he will definitely wrestle trying to get up if it means you'll try to pin him down) - he really just likes any reason to be as close to you as possible

He loves reading with you or reading to you

He finds it to be a romantic bonding activity

He likes when you try to get his attention

Sometimes he likes to see how long he can hold off before he finally caves in to your wishes

He struggles to say no to you, you're his baby, his princess, and in his mind, you should be given the world

He wants to understand your work life, he's only aware of the aftereffects of your missions when you come in injured (which scares the hell out of him), but he wants to know what you know

He wants to understand your interests and be involved, even if he doesn't understand the appeal of fighting

Pulling you onto his lap is like his default move

anytime you act like a brat, into his lap you go

sometimes it's for a playful spanking, but most of the time it's to keep you still for a moment

He knows exactly what using himself as payment means

When you guys get back from your respective duties he wants to fuuuuuck

during a "checkup", he'll let you call most of the shots and give you the illusion that you're in control

but let's be real, he never truly relinquinshes all control

he always has his hands on your hips to control your speed and rhythm or he has one arm in his hand to move you around when he sees fit

He feels bad that you two can't be with each other as often as you'd like and loves any time spent with you at all

but let's be honest, any sexual being is gonna wanna have sex with Zayne (not any, just a hyperbole) - man knows what he's doing XD

if you suddenly decide you're not in the mood, he's off of you and getting you water and your clothes and a warm blanket

as long as you're happy and comfortable, he's happy
