I walk away looking in the mirror asking why I was born with blood

I wanted to be pure

Pure, sweet, angelic, and full of viridity

I prayed to the gods above, asking to be pure like you

I had to paint my lips with holy water to kiss you

You pointed at me and my bloody body

I screamed and begged at your feet to not leave me

It is not my fault I am bloody

They made me like this

My lips covered in curses I did not wish to have

My hands covered in blood that was not mine

The last book I read was, Hockey Girl loves Drama Boy.

That book was okay, I’m used to dark romances or rom coms with a deeper meaning if you get what I mean. Overall I gave it a 3/5, because some parts made me want to cry and throw up!!!

IM NOT GOING TO LIE TO YOU, THE LAST BOOK I GAVE FIVE STARS WAS THE ANCIENT MAGUS BRIDE. I read this series when I was nine, and I was rereading it for giggles pls-

I can’t really pinpoint on what the best book I’ve read was.

I read the Twisted series by Ana Huang, WHICH WAS ALL FIVE STARS.

But if I tried to pinpoint it, it would be A good girls guide to murder by Holly Jackson.

I usually don’t like mysteries, BUT OH MY GOD. I AM HELL BENT ON THIS BOOK. IF YOU HAVENT ALREADY, GO CHECK IT OUT.
