Heres The Thing Tho: The Lgbt Community Shouldnt Include Kink Unless Ppl Are Otherwise Lgbt. Because

here’s the thing tho: the lgbt community shouldn’t include kink unless ppl are otherwise lgbt. because that sexualizes the lgbt community and says that anyone who has “”””weird sex”””” is suddenly oppressed by homophobia or transphobia lmao

opening the lgbt community to anyone who doesn’t have strictly sex for procreation isn’t a good idea because we’ll get cishet kristin who only has sex when it’s a blue moon on a tuesday and her boyfriend is wearing a santa claus costume deciding shes an uwuuwuuwuw kweerio uwuwuw

slapping the label queer on everyone in the lgbt community allows people to say “oh i’m weird” and then decide they’re oppressed, and it also alienates lgbt people who just don’t use the q slur to identify themselves

3 Reasons Why Sex-Positivity without Critical Analysis Is Harmful - Everyday Feminism
I like what sex-positivity sets out to do, but the problem for me is the way that a lot of people practice sex-positivity in the mainstream movement – namely, without a critical analysis component. And I want to talk about that. So here are three points to consider when thinking through this stuff.

Sex-positivity is a movement that arose from a need for us to accept and value sexuality without guilt, shame, and hurt.

I’m about that.

But when we stop asking hard questions in favor of assuming that everything is revolutionarily enlightened and therefore devoid of the intricacies of oppressive structures, I have to step back and question whether or not that’s a movement I want to be a part of.

And unless that critical analysis is present, I don’t.

so in psychology class we got to learn why foot fetishes are so prevelant! basically your brain stores the structural information for your body generally in the correct order (i.e. the info for your ears is stored next to the info for the head, which is stored next to the neck, etc.) BUT. The info for the feet is stored right next to the info for the genitalia and so sometimes these two sections of information can overlap and make you wanna lick some toes

I think one of the reasons I don’t understand the whole ‘kink=pain and therefore its evil’ thing is that I like really spicy food for the same reason I like kink, the sensation that I get from it is pleasing. If there is nothing wrong with eating food that causes pain but not damage why would there be something wrong with another activity that does the same.

And before anyone goes 'kink can cause bodily harm its not the same’ so can sufficiently spicy foods, there are peppers you have to sign a waiver to eat because they could trigger a heart attack or cause burns in your mouth and throat and I don’t see anyone yelling about how the chefs who prepare them and farmers who grown them are abusive.
