Ther Was A Twitter Post From A Big Genshin Leaker Who Said That Baizhu Might Have A Dialog In Yelans

Ther was a twitter post from a big Genshin leaker who said that Baizhu might have a dialog in Yelans Story quest. Now I can't wait for 2.7 to see if we get more information food about him or if it's just false. Till that I didn't even care about Yelan at all ^^"

Can't find the post anymore tho, I'll put it here as soon as i find it.

I stumbled across some foreign productions via Netflix not so long ago and I have to say: I love it! This same storytelling of western (especially American) movies and series became so monotonous and boring over time. Yes, other countries don't always have as much money for productions, but are still very talented in telling and visualizing stories. And by seeing these other cultures portrayed by native compatriots, you learn something too! You get insight into behaviors and values as they are common there. It is shown that not the whole world behaves the same. Films from other countries show you small details in the behavior towards each other or different problems among themselves on which you can not look as a tourist or person in the event.

So I hope my bad english is understandable enough ^^"

I feel like I should say this in a nicer way because I get not everyone is used to trying out new things but... Please try media from non-english speaking countries. It's likely you will find it strange and hard to follow, but that's because you got used to the western way of building a narrative and you will need to watch a couple of things from that culture before you get used to their way of doing things. Sometimes you'll like it better.

And yeah, the budget will be lower than your average HBO show, but good cinema is not dependant on budgets. There are plenty of gorgeous productions with great writing and acting that are worth watching. And when you watch media made by people from other cultures, you will learn unexpected things about that culture, about the language, the customs and habits people have and all the details western filmmakers would never bother adding in. Writers from those countries will also pepper in subtle and less subtle nods to current sociopolitical issues they want to address, which again, western filmmakers telling stories from another country's history just wouldn't have the knowledge needed to add that many layers to their narrative.

And if you keep hearing cool stories about South Asian historical figures or events from Ancient Chinese history but you've never watched a Bollywood film or a Chinese historical drama, ask yourself why that is and why you feel the need for Hollywood to tell these stories.

I wish I could be there, but my roomate forces me to do some useless sisyphus work instead. Maybe I can sneak my way around it ^^

Does Baizhu own the Pearl Galley?

It's just a little theory someone dropped somwhere and I swam by and got hooked on it. Here are my clues that speak for it. Take it with a grain of salt, alright?

The boss of the pearl Galley is called 'Rouran' wich in old mongolian language ( and the only translation I found for this word) means "slithering worm" -> he isn't a worm but everything about him screams a slithering reptile.

extra: the snake looking closest to his character design is a tree python wich are known to have a tail that looks like a worm to trick their prey into coming closer.

The lady on the pearlboat tells us that the boss is frail as a flower and talks about. Not beautiful or good smelling like one but frail. The only person in Liyue we know so far who is known for their contituition is Baizhu. She also talks about a him instead of them.

He's has something shady about him and something in me just wants to believe that he's that kind, gentle doctor at day and a pimp at night. It just sounds too scandalous!

Extra: Changsheng owns the Bubu Pharmacy (diurnal eyes) and Baizhu owns the Pearl Galley (nocturnal eyes) wich drains even more energy from him.

One of my favourites so far hihi...

Incorrect Genshin Quotes #105

( when the day he becomes playable arrives )

Baizhu: All the sudden I got a random burst of energy, and I think it's my body's last hurrah before it completely shuts down.

I adopted this rarepair just right away from you. I never would have got that idea myself but it's amazing. Their chemics have so much potential together \(≧▽≦)/and with someone like you writing about them it becomes even more amazing!

Question for you guys

What Genshin rarepairs do you guys ascribe to? And why? I'm really curious, and please if you want, submit your reply as a multi-paragraph essay because I will read the shit out of it and love you forever.

My rarepair is Baizhu x Kaeya because;

Kaeya's baggage means he'll do everything he can to take care of another person, so that he doesn't ever need to admit that he needs taking care of too. The more his partner needs him, the less they'll ask him to share his inner demons. All the love, none of the vulnerability.

Baizhu is so sassy and so people-smart, and so determined to be beholden to neither man nor god, that he'll never let someone play that game with him. But he does, legitimately, need help.

Baizhu has Qiqi, Kaeya has Klee. They both understand being weird half-parents to tiny girls and can bond over it.

Theirs would be a relationship of constant banter, flounce and passive-aggression, which is a Hell of a lot of fun to write.

Thank you. Just needed to get it out.
