Doki Doki Cartoon Club AU:

Pixel sprites!

So yeah, I basically combined the official pixel sprites for CiDR with Ddlc danganronpa pixel sprites that I found. The credit for the ones I used is at the end of the post! I basically just edited them together. The only things I drew entirely by myself are Blossom's bow, Jenny's hairpin and ribbons and Gaz's hairpin.

These will pretty much stay the same I guess. There's nothing much I want to change, maybe just some details if I change my mind in the future.

Oh, aaand, here's some new and improved info about the au:

-The thing I talked about in the last post with the Gaz and Dipper special free time event thing still stands. There's only one difference about it, which is story relevant so I'm not gonna talk about it yet.

-Dipper goes to play the game on a weird arcade machine type thing, with a chair attached to it. Which... Is quite unusual. But oh well, what can you do. There are no other possible options.

-Gaz just eventually leaves the room once Dipper is distracted enough. She has no evil intentions, she just wants to play her own game in peace.

-Dipper plays the game and names the MC "Dipper".

-The game is way shorter than actual Ddlc. Which, conveniently, is actually relevant. (The first reason for this was because those special free time events were never really that long in DR itself but after some thinking I actually came up with another reason as well. Basically, there are two in total.)

-There are two main parts to the story in the game itself.

-In part one, all of the girls act like their normal, canon selves. Notable differences would be that Natsukis cupcakes are replaced with pizza that Jenny makes instead because Gaz likes it. Yuri's Tea is replaced with Gaz's soda and Yuri's love for books is replaced with Gaz's love for video games.

-Every single one of the girls has a reason why they even joined the club.

-The other CiDR characters are mentioned and seem to exist as well in the universe, but are never seen. Just mentioned.

-The club is actually called "Cartoon Club". Why that is the case is going to get explained. Plus, that also inidicates that the activities changed as well. They are not really.. Cartoon oriented though. It's more simple than it sounds, I just don't want to spoil the whole story.

-It's not really love oriented in the first part at all. It's more chill and just about friendship. No one really seems to show any interest for the MC.

-And in part two, uh... Things get..

Here are some old Ducktales oc designs that I have. During the making of these, I just kind of learned how to properly edit and use the drawing app that I have. And I am pretty proud of how they turned out. Although.. There is something I have to tell you that might surprise someone out there.

Well, to get to the point, these are not a thing anymore. They're not Ducktales oc's anymore.

I'm not gonna abandon them, don't worry, they're gonna return in a different form, in a different universe, in a entirely different story. And once I manage to draw something decent enough, you're gonna hear more about it.

During my hiatus I have created plenty of original stories, the one including these characters but in a different form being the first one.

It's also the first one I plan to work on.

And in case you're thinking: Well, these are useless now, aren't they? Since they're not gonna be used as Ducktales oc's?

No, I don't think so. They were a good practice for learning how to design and edit, and the designs are also a good starting point for the other designs I need.

Will I be making Ducktales oc's in the future? Yeah, why not. If I get a good enough idea. I do have one that would be pretty cool, but I haven't thought about it enough. I'll work on it, I promise-

I remember being so indecisive about what expressions and poses to go for, it was a pain- And I hated making those Ducktales character cards, they looked very good but they were a heck of a pain to create-

At least for me, they have plenty of little details to them that take forever- ESPECIALLY the font. I admire anyone who makes them- At some point I just gave up on it.
