In the meantime I'm gonna show you my "favorite" things from it

First off I wanna say is that we right. We right with some the theories, like Treekyo being the villain but they scrapped it and I BET MY SWEET ASS HAG RT FOUGHT HARD SO TREEKYO WASN'T THE VILLAIN. THEY WANTED AN EXCUSE FOR KIKYO TO BE DRAMA AGAIN NOT JUST FOR INUKAG BUT SAUCERIB TOO. Can you imagine how much more hate Kikyo would've gotten and that was really her? Working with pedomaru and all.

I remember mentioning this a couple of times in my discord. Another thing that was scrapped. Can you imagine how much a certain fandom would seethe if Towa didn't stay with her "biological family" in the feudal era?

Number 3

This shit was such a hot indecisive mess that even Rumiko was fighting people at shitrise. Still the old hag let them violate her own work in the end. Just by reading this, you can tell they didn't know what to do and I think it was highly possible that good things even including a different mother for the twins was there but it was scrapped thanks to Pedosawa pushing and pushing this shit, saying everyone would like it till they all just relented to shut him up. But ofc it blew up in their face. That original very early leak that said things like Setsuna staying with Kohaku and Rin would take her of Moroha is getting more credibility by the day. It was possible that this was the original pitch but they shitted all over it.

Also yes, by "Rumiko's feelings" they mean of RT making sure Saucerib stayed 6ft apart alright 🤡

Number 4

Imagine taking a demon lord that's very ace aromatic asexual or demi whichever you desire to call it, who's true calling mostly is the battlefield and also technically a dad to a little girl (as stated by the author herself) and suddenly turn him OOC...

They really said that a bored Sessh tried what having kids would feel like as an experiment (remember what Narita said), Rin was sadly right there... Then have him say: "0/10 would not recommend" and in the meantime he bounced hoping everyone would die in the fire.

A demon lord that in og had clear issues with his parents (remember the way he speaks to his mom?), Who wanted to surpass his father... Being a deadbeat is such contradiction to his growth. What were they smoking?

And then finally

Are they really trying to say (or excuse) that Kirinmaru being a loving dad and aswell as being there for his daughter is bad parenting here? But Deadbeatmaru was 10/10 parenting done right?????

Honestly I just want to say that if you want die on the hill that you like this thing despite everything. It's cool, you do you I say and accept whatever consequences come from it, but this is literally the worst sequel in anime history. If this interview doesn't convince you I dunno what will. It's undefendable...

Here are we again, another Sunday, another Spotlight! This time it’s @vixeria!!!

Before I begin with this week’s spotlight, some things to note:

These Spotlight Saturdays are my way of saying thank you and giving some love to my friends and other content creators in the fandoms I’m in. SO, as long as I am physically able to, I will spotlight someone. If I haven’t gotten to you yet, chances are, I will, at some point in the future.

If you want to nominate someone for it, or want to nominate yourself (hey, give yourself some credit too!) then please go ahead and add their name to the sheet I have up here. My only request is that if the artist or fic writer does do a lot of NSFW work/writing, you note it for me.

That all said, here we go with this week’s Spotlighted Author (and artist):

VIXERIA!!!

So, let me start saying that I am so grateful for these spotlights because through them I have gotten to meet and get to know so many new and wonderful authors and artists that I really wouldn’t have had the privilege to meet before. And @vixeria you just so happen to be one of them. I’ve seen your art before, but never really got around to saying hello, and now I have, and boy oh boy am I excited. 

You know, the kind of excited a kid gets right before Christmas? Yeah, that’s me, as I get to know you cause of all of the amazing stuff you’re putting out.

Let’s see, where should I start with @vixeria‘s art? How about, we start at her archive? And then work our way down it? Now, because she has quite a few works, I’ve limited myself to highlight seven or eight of them before she speaks of her own faves. 

So, let’s get started! 

I’m going to start at this piece that has no title but features some of @vixeria’s digital art! What I love about this piece is the fact that we get to see a lot of beautiful art in one post! The one at the bottom: the fairy? MY GOD! The colors, light, the expression on that fairy girl’s face? It’s astounding! 

And then there’s this gorgeous silhouette of Sesshomaru that @vixeria drew back in January of 2020. Look at it! The shading, the way the drawing so clearly captures Sesshomaru at that one moment in time? I am in awe! And totally on board for more of these monthly silhouettes! 

Now, let’s take a look at this piece featuring Sesshomaru and Kagome in the dark, the jewel’s brightness the only thing keeping us aware of their presence. What are they doing? Well, I for one, don’t know, but I’m sure that if you’re a SessKag author like me, you’ll likely be inspired to tell us all about it based on this art! (Now there’s a plan: see how many stories are generated from this one piece!) 

Then, moving on to #4 on the featured list (and the featured list does not have ALL OF @vixeria‘s art so please do check out her tumblr page!) we have this one: I’m calling it “Cornered” because it makes me think that Sesshomaru has finally cornered Kagome for something and judging by the hand in her hair and her dishabille, perhaps there’s more to this piece than we know. 

And who doesn’t like a nice SessKag gif? Or moving art? Or whatever this should be called (forgive me, I’m an author not an artist!) I’m in awe that @vixeria not only drew this, but that she animated it too! Think of how talented she is to be able to do that???? WOW! 

AND A COMIC PANEL TOO???? @vixeria you are TRULY SPOILING US MY DEAR!!! I can’t believe you’re gifting us shippers so much free art with your amazing talent! I really can’t! I get excited every time I see art or stories posted by the people in my many fandoms, but I honestly am genuinely floored when I realize just how many of them are doing this for free, just how many of them are giving me things to look at and be inspired by, things to ooh and ahh over, and all of it at no cost to me: the viewer, consumer, enjoyer of these things. @vixeria I am genuinely and truly thankful that you are willing to share this talent of yours with us and feed us greedy SessKag lovers as you do so! 

We’re almost at the end of my part of the spotlight, but I wanted to share with you all my favorite piece by @vixeria. Why is it my favorite? For a number of reasons. There’s the fact that I’m in love with the lighting in the piece for one, then there’s the fact that it’s a gif (OMG THANK YOU!). But, it’s also the fact that I get to see one of my favorite ships represented in a way that makes me smile, relax, and just stare and stare and stare. There’s the tiny details: like how you can see the barest hint of Sesshomaru’s fangs, or how the moonlight and sunlight hit his hair just so. There’s the almost ethereal quality to the work, the way it looks like a magical painting. There’s the way @vixeria​ captures Kagome and Sesshomaru in such a vulnerable, intimate moment, and does it so gracefully. (I can go on and on and on about this piece, but come on, WHY WOULDN”T YOU TOO?) 

Anyway, that’s enough of me spouting off! Why don’t you all take a look at @vixeria​‘s tumblr yourself so you can form your own opinions. I’m sure that most of you will agree with me, and we’ll have tons of fans for her in no time!

NOW, let’s move on the BEST part of the spotlight and hear what @vixeria​ has to say about her own artwork! 

1. Fave art/arts of yours?  I have far too many faves. XD But if I had to choose, I’d choose one of my first, digitally painted portraits, which also happens to be one I’m very proud of because it was the stepping stone I needed to take my art to the next level.  EXTRA:  my fave fun piece I did was of Sesshomaru’s animated eyes! Dabbling in animation is so much fun for me. I just don’t always have the time to work on them- and I have a ton of unfinished animations that the world hasn’t even seen yet.

2. Any you’re super proud of?  My glow sets that I painted,  (2, 3, 4, 5) I think, a year ago are some of my proudest works because of how fast I was able to pop them out onto paper- er, digitally at least. (Edit: folks, there’s five of them up there!) It’s something of a goal I’ve always dreamed of being able to do; to pop out one new piece per day. That was the closest I’d ever gotten to it. 

3. Anything to share about you like genres you like to draw, when you started drawing, what fandoms you draw in.  My top genres are (dark & light) romance and extreme fluff.  I am also a fanfic author with an obsession for truly dark things. I have a dark sense of humor and I tend hide it. A lot. But it does pop up in my writing from time to time.

4. Anything else you would think is absolutely needed in the spotlight? Let’s see… my other fandoms, though more secret than my obvious SessKag obsession, would be Nami x Any Chara (from One Piece), Marionette x Adrien (from Miraculous), and Chise x Elias (from The Ancient Magus Bride).

WOW! Thank you for all that lovely art! And more WIPs you say???? I for one, am really really really excited to see those!

And, now, as always a gif to end things! This is me, unable to sit down when I read you had more wips to share with us, literally dancing and excited, and acting worse than a kid at Christmas.  Thank you!
