Announcing The SessKag Advent Calendar 2021
This December we’re hoping to launch a new event, The SessKag Advent Calendar!
The goal is to have a new SessKag work posted once a day every day from 1st December till 25th December!
For this event to take off, we’ll need 25 creators to take part!
Creator sign-ups for the Advent Calendar will begin 15th October!
We hope to see many of you sign up!

December is only a week away so here is further information to all our wonderful creators taking part in the Advent Calendar event!
There is an AO3 collection you can post your works to!
If you are on Tumblr, you can post your creation to your own blog as per usual. Just please tag us @sesskagevents so we’ll know to reblog your work!
If you do not have an account on Tumblr, you can submit your work to be posted on our blog, share the link on the Dokuga forum thread, or tag/DM Chie the link to your work on Discord.

Launch Month Event: 22 April
This week marks the fourth week of our PMO launch celebrations! We hope you’ve been enjoying all the new launch month content so far! This Friday, we have artist @vixeria, along with writers @chierafied and @wulfintheforest bringing you even more SessKag works exclusive to the PMO.
And remember—if you like the content you see on the PMO, do leave a review or comment to show your favorite writers and artists how much you appreciate them. We’ll see you at the PMO again this Friday!

This year, the event will be held
Monday 18th to Sunday 24th July!

Each day has four prompts to choose from. You can use either each day’s theme song (One of the Inuyasha Openings or endings) or any of the day’s three assigned songs as prompt to inspire you! You may use the song title as a word prompt or any piece of the lyrics that resonates with you.
If you’re feeling up to the challenge, you can even try to combine several of the day’s possible prompts!
For the final day, we have a free day so anything goes! We also have a playlist roulette for you to play!
We’ve collected all songs used as prompts throughout the week as well as some additional ones into a single playlist. Those who feel up to it can put the playlist on shuffle and see what song they will land on!

And if you’re not a creator, SessKag week is an excellent time to show appreciation to your favourite creators! You can make fic rec lists or reblog your favourite fan art or make shout out post to thank the creators you like! And of course, you can always comment on the new fanworks created for the SessKag week and/or reblog them to share with others!

It’s That Time Of Year Again!
The SESSKAG AWARDS are BACK, baby!
This Saturday (October 1st) at 12pm EST, the nomination forms for fanfiction and fanart will be officially open and accepting responses! The nominations will run until 11pm EST on OCTOBER 15th, so be sure to come out and submit your favorite SessKag works before then!
If this is your first time reading about these awards, here is the SessKag Awards Info-Packet, which contains all the information you’ll need – including the rules, category descriptions, the full event schedule, and the links to the nomination forms!
There have been some slight changes to the nomination rules for the 2022 SessKag Awards, so those that participated in the submissions last year should familiarize themselves with the new rules by reading the Info-Packet, too!
The SessKag Winter & Holidays Bingo
While we’re waiting for the holidays, here’s a bingo card full of various word prompts for all you creators out there!
Feel free to try and get a bingo by using several prompts in a single creation, or sprinkle different prompts out over multiple chapters/drabbles/one shots/drawings/graphics!
For the more adventurous of you, there are 25 prompts total, so you could even attempt an advent calendar or 12 days of Christmas type of thing. The sky is the limit!
