you can tell I'm an angel because I will sit there and worship you like you're the only person who has ever gazed upon me, simply out of not knowing what else to do.

There is something so satisfying to the angel side of me in loving people. Loving the way someone smiles clumsily, or the way they laugh too hard. Loving every scar on their bodies, and the way they grind their teeth even when I want to take the stress from them. Something about loving people as individuals makes the part of me that is divinity and wings ache in such a good way. It makes me feel a little bit closer to home.

To touch an angel’s wings is to experience pure divinity. An honor like no other. If you’re lucky enough to have it offered to you, I applaud you. You may not be divine, but you are welcomed among us.
