If you could categorize your parents as an a/b/o what would they be or if you have siblings them too?

Aaaaa, I like this question. I think my answer will be rather boring and predicable though hahahahaha.

My mom is a classic Omega and my dad is, at least behaviour wise, a classic Alpha.

Boring no? Hahahaha.

My mother is a rather emotional person. She can't stand to see people in need, and always tries to help. At times to her own detriment. She wears her heart on her sleeve, and always tries to show how much she cares, even if many times it's in ways that are far from the ones you'd like her to. She's impulsive and gets upset and aggressive with a certain ease, but she regrets and apologises just as quickly. Her negatives are like summer rain. Quick and sudden, with an intensity that's overwhelming, but goes as fast as it comes, leaving a nicer weather right after. She tries to be comprehensive, but she often avoids things she doesn't understand or does not want to address. She has a bad habit of being really messy and disorganised. She loves to sleep. And she's not exactly what I'd call a good or even reasonable cook. She loves make up, clothing and shoes, and owns way too much of all three. She's got platinum blonde hair, really long, natural lashes, fair skin, deep brown eyes and a thin mouth.

My father on the other hand, is drawn in starkly different lines- it's like comparing a Monet to a painting made by Matejko. Although appearance wise he's not very impressive, and not very Alpha like, he compensates on that front with all the rest. He's smarter and wittier than I'll ever be. He's stupidly good with maths and logical issues. He's introspective, thoughtful, methodical and organized bordering anankastic. He's got an air of erudition and seriousness under his jester-like veneer. And even deeper under the hardened surface from years of adversity, he harbours a distinct artistic sensibility. He used to write poetry when he was younger. He dislikes organized religion. He's politically emancipated, but knows more about the subject than most people that pride themselves on it. His favourite author is Jane Austen. He's got the vindictive temper of a child and holds a grudge worse than a scorned woman. He does not own a car, he prefers to walk. He's not an animal person and he prefers to stay alone. I've only seen him cry once in my entire life-time. When his mother died.

As for siblings. I have one older brother.

He's a Beta through and through.

He's rather individualistic. People tell me he's good looking. Which I guess I can see it. It would explain the years of player-like behaviour when he was younger. He's got little talent for most hard-skills. But he compensates for that with his social skills. He's likable and knows how to navigate most social circles. He's soft spoken and he regrets his anger outbursts almost the same minute they happen. He's always the first to apologise even when he's not the only one at fault. He's picky, pedantic and a clean-freak. He's generally agreeable and a hard-worker. He's got more golden medals than me. He's a lousy driver. He can't keep promises to save his life. He's an excellent father.

As for me. I'm just what you see. Nothing more.

Hope this answers your question.

Head cannon; ABO,'beta presenting'

I think of their presentations as a bloody time.

Betas are dynamics with a higher sense of smell or scent. So, when they present, they get the onslaught of their dynamic and olfactory world , that their noses just start bleeding because of overload & sensitivity.

Presentation:-1 to 4 days (common and average case.) Ex;

They would have a nose bleed for an hour or two during presenting, if they are in a safe space or more hours if unsafe or in a crowd. The blood would slowly be dripping, scaring the soul of oneself and others. By the time realization of beta presenting sinks in,bloody waterfalls are usually on the way. [Nosebleeds are common in beta presentation and are different from medically diagnosed underlying nosebleeds. These symptoms are discussed and brought to awareness in understanding dynamic classes.]

Newly presented betas would prefer being alone and away from anyone (their own company when presenting). Even away from their family or loved ones because their noses are so damn sensitive that everything and everyone stinks and have disgusting [rotten smell] scent. They would want a clean room that have tidied and is neat with no smell. Not even of Lysol. Cleaned with just water. And a clean bedding with no scent. And be in a comfy, unscented clothes.

Betas will probably develop a small fever, as a symptom of presenting. So, after a bloody and snotty nose time, their immune system will be backing up soon for them and ready for bodily changes and recovery and the aftermath.

Recovery:- One or two days of presentation probably after, they will slowly familiarize themselves with the smell of food firstly, because they must have been eating bland veggie oatmeal or rice with veggies. Yes, even the food stank. The meat. Don't even ask. [Baby betas did have a breakdown, also adding to the fever. And one of the reason why betas are known for being gourmands.] Then the scented clothes of their family and friends, their own clothes, gets out of their safe room, slowly after a warm reuniting moment with family, gets around their home, then the neighborhood in their third day, the transit, the usual coffee shop/diner.

Familiarizing and re-entering their data.

Adding head thoughts of a daily life of a beta.

The eurovision channel posted Israel's song on yoututbe. DO NOT INTERACT WITH IT AT ALL. I cannot stress this enough. Do not watch it, not even to leave comments in favor of Palestine. Not even to dislike it. The algorithm doesn't work that way. Just report it. Make sure to do the same on any other streaming platform you use. Block the artist. Report her even. But DO NOT engage with the song in any streaming platform. Also don't use the hashtag eurovision.

The Little Girl Aseel Musameh, 7 Years Old, Was Injured Following The Bombing Of Her House By Israel.

The little girl Aseel Musameh, 7 years old, was injured following the bombing of her house by Israel. Her left leg was amputated without any anesthesia or pain killers, in addition to several injuries all over her body. She's waiting for a chance to complete her treatment abroad.

Look for reliable sources to donate and share them. The number of amputee kids who want their limbs back or are waiting for artificial limbs is unfathomable. I've seen some posts sharing their families' contact info for those who want to donate to help get these children proper treatment. Some even were allowed to get treatment outside of gaza via the rafah crossing. If you find any link or info let me know and I'll see if it's viable and reshare it here. Also if there are some organizations that you know of that can help or fund the medical treatment contact them please.

Hello Everyone!

Today is the first day of the weeklong strike for a ceasefire in Gaza.

I have realized that I do not think the message has spread far, at least on this website. This might be due to the lack of internet in Gaza, it has been down for days. Not much can be said by the citizens there, it's like some people forgot about them. I encourage all of you to share this post, or make your own, letting everyone know about this strike. This is something that should transcend the aesthetic of your blog. My blog was a gimmick blog, but for this week, it is a blog for spreading information and awareness.

Bisan Odwa (@wizard_bisan1 on instagram) has called for this strike. She is a journalist from Gaza, who has been experiencing this horrid violence for 15 weeks. 107 days. 2568 hours.

These were the images she posted, calling for this strike:

Hello Everyone!
Hello Everyone!
Hello Everyone!

Hello Everyone!

Reblog this, share this. Do not stop until every supporter of Gaza knows what we must do this week.

Free Palestine, Free Gaza, Ceasefire now!

There’s a fic on fanfiction(.)net that I’ve kept tabs on for years to see if it’s been updated or not. While I’m no longer even in the fandom it’s written for, it just has one of the greatest storylines I’ve ever read. Last time it was updated was 2011.

The other day, I decided to reread the entire thing and leave a very in-depth review of what I thought of each chapter. I also mentioned how I started reading it when I was 13 and am now 21, but always came back to see if it was ever finished because I loved it so dearly.

Today, said author sent me a private message saying that her analytics showed that the story was still getting views even after all these years, but no one ever bothered to leave reviews other than “update soon!!!”, so she never felt motivated enough to finish it. She said that me reviewing every single chapter with lengthy paragraphs made her cry and meant the world to her. She also mentioned that she felt encouraged to write the two remaining chapters needed to complete the story and that she would send me a message the night before she updates the fic.

I’m literally sobbing. I’m so excited :’)

Please always remember to leave a review when reading fanfiction!!! It means a lot to a writer.

ways to support the blm movement

this google doc includes a list of petitions to sign, resources to help educate yourself and others, organizations to donate to, and contacts of law officials to get in touch with to express your support for the george floyd and black lives matter movements. this includes ways to help even if you don’t live in america. please read it and support the movement.

use your voice. use every platform you have, no matter how big or how small. nothing will change if you just sit there and watch. if you think you’re the exception, you’re not. remaining indifferent will only support the oppressor. do something.

write to your legal representatives. express your support for legislation that would bring justice to the unarmed civilians who’ve been murdered by law enforcement officers. demand for justice.

call 612-324-4499 ㅡ this is a hotline that will coach you on how to get connected with the people who can arrest the officers that murdered george floyd.

create serious conversation. stop demeaning people who disagree with your philosophies on how to overcome. it is useless and no better than the practices of the oppressor to silence. we need to listen to each other with respect and really consider how we can combine our perspectives to create practical change.

please feel free to add any links or resources or information that you think will be helpful and also reblog to spread awareness. the systems we are fighting against were literally created to oppress marginalized communities and therefore will not go down without a fight. we need to collectively stand up and do something about it.

here's a link to a carrd compiling ways you can support the black lives matter movement (made by twt user @dehyedration)

other than listing petitions, places to donate, and where to call/text, it also compiles resources such as threads debunking misinfo, education on black history, and information for protestors. it's being updated regularly

do not ignore this

our momentum is slowing down. we can’t let our dashes go back to normal when the world is not normal. so, if you are reading this, you are ~legally~ obligated to choose 2 numbers below; you must complete the task of those two numbers today. don’t pretend you didn’t see this. either do them right now or set a reminder to get it done before the sun goes down. the timer starts now. choose two.

sign some petitions. LINK HERE. if change.org hasn’t accused you of being a bot yet, you haven’t signed enough.

watch this youtube video. LINK HERE. do not skip the ads. this is a way to help raise money without having to donate any.

sign up to get daily actions. LINK HERE. after filling out the form, you will receive texts Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays telling you what action to take. (i got this link from @ wp4bl on instagram)

text or call for any of these victims. LINK HERE. this website is extremely helpful, well organized, and practically does all of the work for you.

donate some money. LINK HERE. if you have any more money to spare, please donate it to one of these funds.

follow every single one of these organizations on social media: blcklivesmatter, colorofchange, reclaimtheblock, showingupforracialjustice, and civilrightsorg

post these important sources to your social media. LINK HERE. you have no idea who it might help.

read this article and forward it to at least one person. LINK HERE.

watch this video explaining the racial wealth gap. LINK HERE. it’s really informative and only about 15 minutes long.

do some reading. LINK HERE. this link has a ton of great resources to educate yourself. read at least one.

I hope you know that you are really cool and creative!! We will support you no matter what

So what made you decide to have Vicky die the way she did in your story?

Okay, I understand that this is a question for the stream, but I think it’d be better if I answer it here and not there because, well, due to the nature of How You Lived, there will be darker elements that will likely trigger bad memories/nightmares for some people in my audience. At least here, it’s optional to read, and it’s separate from the stream so no need to mute/turn away. The explanation will be under the cut.

Content Warning: Mentions of depression, anxiety, suicide, self harm, eating disorders, PTSD, murder, rape, torture, racism, hate crime, abuse

Okay, so I’ve been suffering from depression and anxiety for most of my life, with suicidal thoughts/actions, bulimia, and trauma from abuse to boot. So I was a bit of a morbid teenager. Did a pretty good job at hiding it, though. Ironically, one of my comforts was in the Investigation Discovery Channel (hell, the Discovery channels have been a constant in my life). I stumble onto the channel one day, and I was… well, stuck.

Cut to two years ago, when I first joined the Monster Prom fandom. I’ve always had the idea of writing a fanfic relating to Vicky’s death. As time went on and I got more information, as well as developed the character of Dr. Frances Schmidt, story elements changed; this I’ll further explain in the stream since I also got a question related to this story’s development.

I’ve always had the idea that Vicky was just one corpse stitched together again, and that detail was basically canon with the existence of her death certificate. So I thought, “Why would a corpse need to be stitched back together if all of the body parts came from a single body?”

Remember how I mentioned that I was into Investigation Discovery? I didn’t even need to see some shows on the channel for inspiration: I already had it. Yeah, my mind went to a dark place, but it logically made the most sense. Vicky’s killer was loosely inspired by many serial killers that were known in the 90s, but mainly Jeffrey Dahmer, who was known for attracting lovers only to rape them, murder them, and, in some cases, dismember them. (He's also based off of three men in my life that have contributed to my trauma/abuse, but that's a story for another day.)

Much like Dahmer, Vicky’s killer had very specific targets in mind, targets that he was attracted to. And considering that I set the flashbacks in the early 1990s, with racism on the rise like it is now, we have our motive. Even if I had known at the time Vicky was Jewish, her murder, sadly, would’ve made sense. Antisemitism did not go away. As for the rape and torture? Falls in line with being a Jeffrey Dahmer expy (as well as an expy of my ex-boyfriend).

So it was satisfying to write that Brian put an end to this monster, and right as he came back from the dead as well. No, I am never writing this scene out; there are some lines even I won’t cross. The next installment, under the working title, “The Undead Support Group,” will also have this scene alluded to, with slightly more detail, but I won’t go farther than that.

Those early mental health issues I’ve mentioned? I’ve also given some of those to this universe’s version of Vicky, in particular anxiety, PTSD, and self harm, those of which will be highlighted in this midquel. As an overachiever myself, having anxiety on top of that induces a lot of stress. Add trauma (in her case, from literally being the victim of a hate crime) to that and you have an overly stressed young woman.

Unlike me, I wanted to give Vicky a support system, something I wish that I had when I was younger. Polly is not her only source of support, thank the Goddess; she has her circle of friends, she has therapy as mentioned in How You Loved, she has her mom… For a long time, I had none of those things, and until recently, I only had one.

Toes are vulnerable to police car trampling, and 'accidental' sideswiping by drivers who hate you and your cause." second tweet in image states "Photos are a complicated subject. Livestreaming is almost always a bad idea, since cops can use those streams to surveil, and since you may accidentally broadcast information that can be sued to identify or prosecute other protesters." third tweet says "Be very careful with night videography / photography at protests. I'm not going to say never do it, but be VERY mindful that folks tend to take more militant action at night and you don't want to accidentally incriminate anyone."

wonder how many people are going to be put off from donating to planned parenthood and end up accidentally donating to their local crisis pregnancy center instead. like i'm sorry but if you think planned parenthood is doing just fine, research is clearly not your forte

I’ve posted this to Twitter but I will post it here too, and before anyone asks YES THIS IS SAFE TO REBLOG EVEN IF YOU’RE NOT INDIGENOUS (AND I ASK YOU TO DO SO):

In the aftermath of the draft of the decision, I saw people, specifically white, non-Indigenous people (as Indigenous people who do speak on this are different), who were demanding on social media reservations and tribal governments to open abortion clinics on their lands, since our governments function separately from state governments and are sovereign.

AND I AM ASKING TO MY WHITE, NON-INDIGENOUS FOLLOWERS TO PLEASE DO NOT DO THIS.

If a tribe wants to do it, that is really fucking amazing! And I, as an Indigenous woman, hope that tribes do, but you, again I’m mostly talking to white, non-Indigenous people, should NOT be demanding that they do.

Here’s just two reasons:

White, non-Indigenous people in this country have always had some sort of damn entitlement to what tribal governments should do. Yes, we are entitled to the right to an abortion. But what no one, who is not Indigenous (and especially who is white and not Indigenous), has no right to feel entitled to what tribal governments choose to do.

Is it not clear our Supreme Court is shitty, not just with this Roe v. Wade decision, but with multiple that have happened over the past couple of weeks? How do you think that tribal governments have gotten so many rights to be so separate from state governments and to be sovereign? It’s usually been arguing things to the Supreme Court. I even did my undergraduate Capstone on how the Supreme Court has played an important role in determining reservation disestablishment or diminishment, and most of those come through tribal jurisdiction cases against state governments. Do you not think that many states, especially red states (who are the ones who are going to immediately outlaw abortion), aren’t just waiting to take tribal governments to the Supreme Court over these jurisdiction matters? And do you think our current Supreme Court will rule in the states favor or the tribes favor? I’m betting the states.

Again, if tribal governments decide to do it, good for them! I, as an Indigenous woman, hope they do! But please, as white, non-Indigenous people, do not demand this.

PS: There’s currently a case that the Supreme Court will be hearing soon, and then ruling a decision on, called Haaland v. Brackeen, where the states of Texas, Louisiana, and Indiana (kinda funny how these are also states with trigger bills on abortion, isn’t it!) are trying to get the Supreme Court to rule the Indian Child Welfare Act unconstitutional! For those who don’t know, the Indian Child Welfare Act was put in place because of horrendous abuse that happened with Native children being adopted by non-Native (especially white) families. And states would disproportionally take Native children away to adopt them out to non-Native (especially white) families. And so the Indian Child Welfare Act was put in place so that, to protect Native children from abuse and to keep Native children connected to their culture(s), they can only be adopted by Native families.

If you care so much about Indigenous people, maybe also direct attention to fighting so that the Supreme Court doesn’t rule the Indian Child Welfare Act unconstitutional!
