so, here we are with an official commission sheet. as most folks who regularly visit my blog know, i’ve recently sort of uprooted my life and moved. currently, i am staying with a friend at airbnb’s/motels until we’re able to find more permanent housing (this is a very long explanation as to why we’re doing it this way). our main purpose in doing this was to secure jobs before applying to houses (it’s going to be four others + myself).
job hunting is going well, i am a practicing nationally certified emt- and the state where we’re moving is hurting bad for providers- however, they’re taking their time in negotiating pay rates and getting back to me with offers, as well as it being multiple weeks before my first paychecks come in.
essentially, i am opening up commission to try to make up some of the money i’ve spent recently on airbnbs/motels/gas/food. i have enough money personally to pay all of my bills/debts/needs through july, however, i am also looking out for my friend and any unexpected expenditures for the time being.
i don’t expect for these commissions to make up a sizeable income, but at least enough to lend a hand with the fuel/food/maybe a little bit of the money i’ve put into reservations.
below is proof of the latest booking:
i want to earn what i receive, so if you’re in a position to commission my work or like my work at all– PLEASE consider commissioning me. or, if you’re feeling generous, i will also have a few links in case you would like a donate because you’ve liked work i posted.
commission prices as below:
$5 = 500 words (roughly 1- 1 ½ hours of work)
$10 = 1,000 words (roughly 1-3 hours of work)
$15 = 1,500 words (roughly 1 ½-4 hours of work)
$20 = 2,000 words (roughly 2-4 hours of work)
$25 = 2,500 words (roughly 2 ½-5 hours of work)
I am only available up to $25 for a single piece at the moment, because I want to be able to provide excellent quality content. however, you can commission multiple pieces.
for commissions $20+, i do ask for half payment upfront. note, also, that work times may fluctuate, or be less depending on my availability for the day (actively looking for work, housing, dmv, emt reciprocity ect).
why commission?
1) commissions get prioritization over personal projects and requests. basically, your piece gets first dibs and is what i’ll dedicate to finishing first. a lot of the time, it can take me weeks to get a single request done.
2) commissions are tailored to your specifications and exactly what you’re looking for. i communicate thoroughly and work with you on what you want in the piece. your satisfaction is priority.
3) quality will be significantly higher than with my requests. i will take the time to thoroughly edit pieces, and have others beta the piece so it’s as clean as it can possibly be.
4) commissions can be anything you want- original, fanfic, reader-insert, self-insert, original characters x canon characters, canon character x canon character. whatever suits your fancy. with requests, as with most content on my blog, i only write gender-neutral reader-inserts.
5) you’ll be doing me a huge solid and helping alleviate some of the frustration from this whole situation lmao.

My family was displaced from the northern Gaza Strip and moved to the southern Gaza Strip and now lives in tents made of cloth and plastic in very difficult and complex tragic conditions.. They do not even find a mattress to sleep on, nor cooking gas, nor any of the necessities of life..

I’m tired of getting these stupid offers to work on people’s “passion projects” for free, usually with the promise of compensation when/if the project takes off. Guess what? I don’t care that you’re passionate about it, I care if you’re competent. When you knock on my door asking for free work, its a clear sign that you aren’t. You might have hopes that your project hits it big and that you’ll eventually get rich off of it, but if you REALLY believed in it, I feel like you’d be more willing to put your own livelihood on the line instead of asking an artist to do it for you. If I do a bunch of free work hoping it’ll pay off, I’m not doing other work that could actually feed me and pay my bills. And what happens when the project doesn’t get funded or some important factor blows up or everyone decides to quit out early? I get screwed. So, no. I don’t want to work on your passion project. Not unless I get paid up front.
